Replica kit vs Elite kit

This is a trick question? Anyway, I think it is a fair chance that you will only find two stripes on the sleeves of Your Adidas shirt.....

It's made of the same stuff the players kits are made of, instead of the cheap arse sweat your bollocks off shite the normal replica kits are made of. I'd guess the likes of an internal stitching is much softer and/ or covered to avoiding the chafing you normally get playing in replica kits too (that is a guess though).

If you're gonna actually play footy in it regularly & have that kind of cash spare then go for it, if not, then don't bother.

That's what I figured. It looks fitted too but doesn't actually say it is.

You can't seem to get the compression shirts anywhere which is surprising. I'd have thought they'd sell

It's one of those crazy things...if I'm going to pay that much for a kit in sure as hell not going to play footy in it!

The 'elite' is designed to be more for playing in only I think it is thinner and has lots more mesh on for breathability etc - things the typical footy fan wouldn't want for wearing it around town etc. I don't think you'd find any problem playing in the normal one, just like any other typical replica shirt.

Do people wear fake kits
Yeah, otherwise they wouldn't sell them.

It amazes me that people wear (kits in general, not just the fake ones) them while on holiday, especially when they aren't used to the heat. There's about four months of the year here when I wouldn't even think about wearing one.

I wouldnt wear eithe tbh but a fake top as an adult. For kids its cool.

As a grossly overweight old man I too find replica shirts tend to chafe, a little, especially around my side-boobs and if I'm forced to overstretch for my Wotsits. I find wearing older and smaller shirts offers a bit more support albeit at the expense of an exposed mid-rift, and to be fair, mid-rift exposure only really becomes an issue because the dogs like to lick my salty tum. I wonder if the "Elite" shirt would help me in any way and if I can get a secondhand one off eBay.

Anyone buying one after the age of about 25 is seriously tapped in the head.
For five-a-side I wear my replica 1977 away top, my 2001 away top (which was a gift) or my 1986 away top (even if my gut does hang out).

That's because no one above the age of 25 could possibly think we are going to win the league....

Hahahahaha

Favourite post of 2017 thus far.

I train in them a lot.

My 1992 centenary shirt is still going strong

How does that still fit you? Last time I saw you, you’d put the beef on.

Are you using it as a paedophile trap?

(Not sure if I spelt paedo correctly there, it doesn’t auto correct. That’s a good thing right?)

Hajaha it was always a loose fit, not so much anymore I'm
Heavier than I've ever been. 95kg, disaster!

Time to lay off the hard stuff.
