Norwich remaining games:
Norwich v Man Utd
Norwich v Watford
Everton v Norwich

Sunderland remaining games:
Sunderland v Chelsea
Sunderland v Everton
Watford v Sunderland

Newcastle remaining games:
Aston Villa v Newcastle
Newcastle v Tottenham

My prediction:

Final table

17. Newcastle 39 points
[BCOLOR=#ff0000]18. Sunderland 36 points[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=#ff0000]19. Norwich 32 points[/BCOLOR]

Newcastle has got their defence sorted it seems, conceding only 3 goals in their last 4 games.
They've also got the right momentum being unbeaten in their last 4.
Villa seems to be a beaten team and Newcastle should be able to go there and get 3 points.
Spurs have nothing to play for except ruining it for Newcastle.

Sunderland have lost 7 points in their last 4 games. They were lucky to get a point against Stoke in their last game. Do they have what it takes to beat Chelsea? No.
I think they'll beat Everton and get a draw against Watford.

Norwich who looked somewhat safe a few weeks ago and have sunk like a rock in these past few weeks, losing three games in a row. I think that will continue. I don't see them winning any of their remaining games.

If Newcastle manages to stay up, I can see Rafa turning them into a bogey team for us next season.

Especially as that means Allardyce would be going down, with his "perfect record" (in terms of relegation) spoiled.

One thing the Mackems have got, though, is Defoe. Newcastle haven't got a goalscorer in anything like the same class. He could yet make the difference.

Wouldn't disagree, and it could still happen (just about), but I don't really give much for Norwich's chances now.

personally hope norwich stay up but reckon they'll go down with sunderland.

newcastle guarenteed 3 points next game and that'll be all they need for survival.

I dunno about it being a guaranteed 3 points at Villa. They've gone d-mob happy and might give them a game.

I hope Newcastle stay up. Sunderland and Norwich just make up the numbers. At least Newcastle have an identity.

I'd like Sunderland to go down because Sam Allardyce.

And I'm not sure my residual affection and respect for Benitez is enough to overcome how amusing it would be to see Newcastle relegated again.

Everton and Watford have a huge say in this

I agree, Newcastle to stay up. Their two remaining games are against a combination of shite and deflated teams.

Read on goal or elsewhere that Palace was still in the mix before last weekend matches.

Technically they can get relegated, they're on 39 points but they've got a way superior goal difference than Newcastle so it's very unlikely.

For Palace to get relegated:
1. Palace must lose their remaining games. Stoke (H), Southampton (A), Man U (H).
Two of the following must also happen:
2. Newcastle have to win their remaining games and close a 15 goal gap to Palace.
3. Sunderland have to get at least 7 points in their last three games and also close a 8 goal gap to Palace.
Edit:
4. Norwich have to win their remaining games and close a 16 goal gap to Palace.

Newcastle should beat Villa and I reckon that will do it. I dont see the others getting 4 points out of their last 3 games.

I've always had a love-hate thing with Newcastle. On the one hand their fanbase can reek of self entitlement and this desperation to be seen as different(tops off at away games over Winter...arent us Geordies mental ) but say what you want they do have a passionate following and a genuine love for the game and you do think the Premier League is worse off without them.

Anyway the main reason I hope they stay up is because of Rafa and for him to get one over on Big Sam just adds to it. Norwich look doomed.
