Shout out to Jones; his distribution wasn't great but he showed a safe, firm pair of hands today. Could've cracked under the pressure Reading exerted on us in the ending stages but he collected their crosses well. Any fumble or shakiness and the confidence of the defence would've sunken lower.

He should be playing out wide and 50 metres from goal. That way, he can make his dazzling runs past/nutmeg 5 players and score the trickiest of goals. Present them on the plate for him and he seems to find them lacking challenge and will conceive all sorts of ways to miss them.

I'm the same. I thought Jones was one of the highlights of the game. Made no errors, punched when he should, looked calm and relaxed.

Yeah well the way we've been conceding recently it was a nice relief to see him save it. In fairness, I thought the odds were in the striker's favour. I was quite surprised to see him miss. Important save.
