Lots of running fast, but it seemed that the full back was running just as fast, if not faster. Step-over x 20, never got to the byline and actually delivered a cross. Never cut inside and did anything. No end product.
I watched Michael Branch (remember him??) destroy whole teams single handedly from the age of 12 until 17, he had end product and intelligence at this age and he turned out shite. I thought he would have a bit more in his locker at this age.

Yeah me too. I hope it's not a case of us being a shit place for young players to come and develop. I hope we just haven't had the talent rather than destroying and not nuturing talent effectively.
