Gerrard, Riise, Hyypia, Hamann and Finnan, that was it. We now have Torres, Mascher, Agger, Reina, Kuyt and Yossi. We've also had Garcia, Crouch, Alonso. So this is just bollocks really, and Brendan, Skrtel had a great first season or so, the whole defence have been shite and leaked goals all season, and Eggnog is miles better than you give credit for.

I like Rafa's interview, it was very honest and open and you can see the guy loves the club. Anyone who thinks this team isn't better than 2004, should never post again in my opinion. They are not worth debating with.
In case anyone hasn't realised, the Premiership is about money. Since Roman arrived, Chelsea and Man Utd have owned the Premiership. To get 2nd last year, splitting them, was a truly Herculean achievement. To even get the fans expecting the Premiership with less than £20m net spend per year, is pretty amazing. Good teams can play badly at times, sport can be like that.
We're still a good team.

Our record in the champs league over Rafas reign proves to me without doubt that on the whole we have inproved, although there is absolutely no denying that we have been dogshit this season and some of that fault should definitely lie with Rafa. Having sai that it december and we still as of yet have not been able to field anything like our strongest side and the only luck we have had so far has been of the atrocious bad variety.

Our record in the champs league over Rafas reign proves to me without doubt that on the whole we have inproved, although there is absolutely no denying that we have been dogshit this season and some of that fault should definitely lie with Rafa. Having sai that it december and we still as of yet have not been able to field anything like our strongest side and the only luck we have had so far has been of the atrocious bad variety.
