No doubt in my mind we will win this year. Holy Grail will finally return to Anfield after donkey years, so there will be no arguments on that and hence, I won't bother to talk bout ourselves simply cos we don't have to.

But I'd like to have a special mention for Arsenal. A lot of ppl will and have already written them off this year due to lack of big signings as well as a few of their star players no longer at their club. But I guarantee you they will push the Top 3 neck to neck hard for this year's title.

Key player for them is Arshavin and I'm afraid what we've seen of this little magician last season was no fluke and was only a fraction of his amazing array of talents. This is the season his full potential will explode and he will bag shit loads of goals and create shit loads more.

Eduardo is also back, Van Persie has matured a lot, Rosicky's also back for this season albeit out for a few weeks, Walcott will continue to grow in stature and we will see a new star in Wilshere....

The Arse team has been labelled as inexperienced every season but sooner or later, this 'young' team will eventually mature and I believe, this season will be that year. Unfortunately, we will be too good for them this season (fingers crossed).

I must admit I'm gonna have a special interest in how the Arse team will develop this season. They're either gonna self-detonate themselves and annihilate one another OR they will wow everyone with their style of play, and I mean really WOW.

I think Arsenal will be much like last season - stunning to watch at times but inconsistent. They've also got a very tough start, which could put them out of real contention quite early.

Mods...small request pls.

Could you make this a sticky ? would be interesting to gauge how our predictions end up at the end of the season.

cheers

Save the thread and pull it up at the end of the season.

I'll predict later but Villa to finish 5th is very generous for them. City, WestHam, Everton and Spurs all look capable of finishing ahead of them.

how do u save a thread ?

I thought the site's DB only store stuff no more than 2-3 months ?
So bump it a couple times. Save the link to the thread.

Or just stick it in the vault till the end of the season.
Or let it sit in the management forum, that way the mods can keep the thread and let it remind them to give out about roger at same time.

Can't believe some of you miserable bastards have put us 3rd after last season!

Liverpool

Chelski
Arse

With all due respect to Roger, of whom I'm quite fond, and mors, who I dislike enormously, the fact that both have said we're going to win should strike terror into the hearts of all rational Liverpool fans.

What if the hands have broken off?

The stubs of the broken hands would still indicate the correct time.

If the clock in question is a digital radio that due to some mishap only flashes a random sequence of horizontal and vertical lines, then my statement might be called into question. So I'm not including digital clocks.

I never said the clock had stubs. I'm talking about a stubless clock. Mors and Roger are stubless clocks.

I have defeated you in this battle of wits, you should leave the field with what little honour you have left.

Better than being a useless cock huh Gene?

1. Man Utd
2. Liverpool
3. Man City
4. Chelsea
5. Arsenal

I don't see us winning it without another striker and some more flair. This is the year Man City qualify for the CL

Chelsea will struggle with a new manager and tired players (Lampard, Terry, Drogba, et al)

United to win it, unfortunately with Michael Owen to score a series of goals in the last month to take them to the top. weeks later, Owen will be found in a jacuzzi, not breathing.

I'll put it in the vault for you on Saturday mr.rederer.

Liverpool
Chelsea
Manchester
Arsenal
Everton
