Not really buying that. I think Gomez has been one of our best players and has made no more mistakes than VVD (which have been few).

But, some rotation make sense when it is feasible, so that if it is necessary for a bigger game, some chemistry in the back two is in place.

I like the idea of VVD-Matip today. Matip-Gomez on Wednesday. And, back to VVD-Gomez next weekend.
