Pre Match: Cardiff (H)

I can only assume that he's more concerned with getting all the players involved & somewhere close to match fitness. Will possibly pay dividends if injuries neccessitate them playing, but if it costs us points or stops us finding that all important 'rhythm' (Klopp's oft used terminology) then it won't be worth it.

He does like a calculated gamble does Klopp.

Looks like a 5-2 score like to me
I hope not.

Sounds nuts, but I love the fact we don't concede league goals at Anfield, can you imagine managers coming here?!

"Well, no one's even scored here for fucking ages, so, erm, just try not get embarrassed, eh lads?"

Moreno and Lovren. Fucking hell. This went from a walk in the park to jittery nervs

Robertson needs a rest, we're concerned because hes the only player who doesnt have a decent back up, so it makes sense to take him out against Cardiff.

Lallana needs games, we need to get him back to his best, otherwise we're relying soley on Shaquiri as our midfield creative option. Cardiff at home is the game for that.

Gomez dropped is a disappointment, he has been sensational this season. Maybe Lovren brought in for the more physical contest Cardiff will pose.

Gosh, that teamsheet smells of "keeping players happy and involved".

Only in terms of Lovren. I'm guessing Gomez and Lovren will be rotated over the course of the season. Gomez should be first choice though.

I'm guessing Moreno is playing purely because Klopp thinks we can just about get away with it at home to Cardiff.

It's weird, it's as if Lallana has actually done something of note for us. When the truth is, he's basically done jack shit in the 4 seasons he's played for us, still people are holding on to some strange belief that he'll suddenly turn into this Iniesta type player.

Am I absolutely bonkers to say that pound for pound, Shaqiri has done more for us than Lallana has?

I know that I'm in douchebag territory with this post but I'm actually quite baffled that people are still holding on to that glimmer of hope regarding Lallana. It's turning Kewell-esque...
