Steve Bruce has shown him up since he took on Newcastle. How good of a manager is he these days anyway?
After Newcastle and managing in China. Outdated in terms of fighting with the big boys?
boom! called itI think Rafa would be a believable option
I really can't see Rafa going to Everton after all of his history and love of Liverpool. Regardless of whether he has a home here or not. He'd never be accepted by a majority of their fans either. No chance he'll go there, none.
boom! called it
He pretty much said he would before so I mean...Yeah,it's obvious he would go there in a heartbeat.
We play Everton at Anfield on 22 April.
Looking forward to him ripping off his shirt at half time to reveal his Liverpool jersey
That's very likelyThey probably would have sacked him by then.
I'll always love him for what he did with us, and for his continued support for justice etc. His family live there. They love the city. He's a professional manager. There's no way he shouldn't take that job if offered. He's managed Chelsea, Newcastle, Inter, Real and some no-marks in China since.
Not bothered if he takes the job one bit.
Just in passing, the title of this thread is easy to misread and reminded me of a newspaper typo I saw quoted in "Private Eye" many years ago: "Dead-eye Stewart Fraser, playing for the League of Scotland against the League of Ireland, tried a shit from twenty yards which ended up nearer the corner flag than the goal".
Unfortunately there are thousands more that will echo this ridiculous sentiment. If they do appoint Rafa it will be over within the season. Every defeat will be held up as some sort of red conspiracy.
