I hope he can recover mentally from that -
A dislocated shoulder, if thats what it is, would keep him out for a few weeks but probably not the whole torunament. Its likely Egypt would gamble on his fitness and give him every chance to make it.

Lawro saying he has to choose between an operation to fix it (out of the WC) or rest and repair and it will now happen again in the future. Not sure if he's right about that but there seems to be some logic.A dislocated shoulder, if thats what it is, would keep him out for a few weeks but probably not the whole torunament. In hindsight - he made the wrong sub with Lallana.
I actually think Solanke (don't know who the subs were!) would have been better here - put him in the middle, let Bobby neutralize the left/right flank and Mane do his thing.
Oh well, 20/20

Solanke would have scored 4
No, he would have been poor if he’d had a load of chances and missed them or was wasteful in possession. He wasn’t poor, we just didn’t give him a sniff. And they weren’t different class when Salah went off...but if a team loses their best player they’re bound to dip...and we did...and the opposition is bound to be lifted...and they were.He was poor although it still took an unreal last ditch tackle and a streaker to stop him.
It's all opinions. I thought they were a different class from the moment Salah went off.
Should of been the bloody team bus..Enter Karius.
That was one of the worst goalkeeping display I've ever seen. And when you consider the magnitude of the game, it becomes THE worst. The mistakes just get worse with every replay. And he got caught in no mans land for the Isco chance. The other pundits were being a bit nicer about it but Lampard, in that quote, tells it like it is - he killed us out there. Surely he's done now. We watched closely after the match and not one Liverpool player went over to him after the game. A couple Real players eventually went over and then one of the coaches.
Have.Should of been the bloody team bus..
We were screaming for something different. So he did a like for like subDid Lallana actually touch the ball whilst he was out there?
I'm sure he must have done something but for the life of me I can't remember if he did.
Poor Klopp was always onto a loser if someone got injured but was surprised he didn't give Solanke a go. I know he's not given us much to go on this season but after a point we didn't really have much to lose. What was Can going to do?
I’m always getting corrected for my grammar on here, I apologise.Have.
I’m sorry but even on a night like this that has to be corrected.
No need.I’m always getting corrected for my grammar on here, I apologise.
Spanish TV reporting Ronaldo may be leaving RM after an interview on the pitch after the match.
Personally I agreed with Klopp. We were losing it in midfield so bringing on 10 strikers wouldn't have helped. Can often picks the ball up and drives forward and has scored 2-3 in the season's CL from exactly those drives.Did Lallana actually touch the ball whilst he was out there?
