Yeah , clyne is class , the best fullback weve had in yonksyonks

Moreno was ace too, his aggression and pace were on point last night although he had an ikll suited centre forward to mark in the first half and seemingly no one at times throughout

Exactly, the few times I watch them play they always bring out the Gerrard song and usually more, for a team that's won so much, it's embarrassing how obsessed they are with us. Last night in the match thread I was going on about it, sure they were playing us so they want to give it a go, but for the first 30mins (stopped listening after that), they didn't sing one single song about their players or clubs outside of a chant of "Manchester, Manchester, Manchester" to try and disrupt YNWA, but about 6 or 7 derogatory ones about us. Again I get away fans want to give it to the opposition, I'd expect us to do the same and sing a few songs about them, but I'd also have expected us to sign YWNA, Fields of Anfield road as well as a few generic Liverpool chants, do United fans really have so little pride, or such an obsession with us, that they can't sing about their own, very successful, club?
United Chants in the first half :
Liverpool 50%
Gerrard 25%
Hillsborough 25%
Their own team 0%

Was great going into work today (in Manc) and lording it over them. They were all just totally deflated and had no comeback. Was so ace kicking them when they were down.

Still miffed at the lack of uproar in the media on the constant vile singing/chanting from the United end last night. Shameful.

A few mentions on BBC and that doesn't really cut it. It was full on and pretty constant from the filthy, inbred manc bastards.

Reports of the incident I have read mostly say that "a section" of the United supporters were singing the offensive stuff. Or even a "small section."

I was sitting opposite them and I can confirm that they ALL bloody sang it.

Arsed about them singing about whatever they want. I've always known they're all cunts, I'm quite happy for them to continually prove me right.

Wow!
I thought he had a good game, but this clip just made realize how good he actualky was. So dominant and hardly out a foot wrong. Kudos to Emre Can!

Yeah, his performance kind of slipped under my radar too. Very impressive and probably part of the reason why our defense and Mignolet were not seriously tested. I love how many times he could have gone with an easy and obvious option, but instead chose to take responsibility and do something more positive, like going on a forward run – and it worked nearly every time too. He is maturing in the DM position.

Can, like most of our team, has been very up and down in terms of consistency of performance. But he's put a run of games together where he's been excellent. He was getting caught on the ball a lot, but he has been looking very switched on for 90 minutes.

People have rightly highlighted Allen coming on as pivotal in regaining momentum but I was really pleased with Origi when he came on too. He terrified Carrick and stopped them playing out from the back, forced then to turn over possession cheaply a couple of times and made sure they never really mounted a last 5 minutes seige
Great call that. I thought exactly the same. I really like Allen. As Aristotle said 'One Swallow does not make a summer' - It sort of feels like that with Allen though.
