Why would anyone ask if Gerrard has damaged his legendary status because of:
A) A slip that could have happened to anyone, at any stage of their career
B) Showing passion but going overboard in one of our biggest games of the season.
We may aswell ask if he was ever a legend to begin with, after the own goal in the Cup Final against Chelsea, or his sending off for kicking Kevin Campbell in the bollocks.

We would have been better of without the last 4 years. A proven player at his best age at 150k a week paired with Suarez and Sturridge... PL winners 2013/14. We missed the boat on misplaced sentiment.
Yes, it was all Gerrard's fault we lost the title, the fact we jumped from 7th to 2nd is irrelevant, the fact he contributed heavily during our great run is too. Nothing to do with Henderson getting banned, us going off the boil, our problems defensively, our dodgy keeper.. no none of that, just Gerrard.
