Plan B

I already posted to ask both of you to stop. He's stopped ... you will too. There's many threads you can both contribute in. Peter - stick to threads where some of the posters still believe something may be salvaged out of this season. Macca - stick to threads we're on the road to ____ (insert worst place possible), and everyone misses Rafa or Roy or Kenny.

Why does plan B have to involve changing the entire footballing philosophy or formation of the team?

Can it not just be bringing on a player with different attributes to play within the same structure?

You know... Start with Downing on the right and when he fails to score or create anything.... Bring someone on in his position who will.

Our problem is.... We bring Downing on to replace someone when they haven't scored or created anything.... And he faithfully recreates their achievements.

The problem with Plan A is that only half the players have bought in. It's utterly discordant and it's not like there are options.

I thought this was the right room for an argument!

I guess ... I am just realizing that since Rafa's penultimate year, there's been little (overall) for fans to be happy. And it's just not fun to be a fan when the majority of 'your family' are miserable etc ...

People expected miracles out of Rafa, he delivered and was close to the holy grail. He started messing things up and was let go rightly.

Then we were rather unsure about Roy, and he was a calamity.

Daglish's 1st six months were great, and then he cocked up his first transfer window with poor signings (bar Coates & Bellers) and one of our worst years in almost 50 years.

In comes one of the brightest young managers in the game, and we're off to a horrific start.

It's tiring to see how people expect this marathon to be won in the first few kms ... It won't be. IF (and it's obviously a big one) Rodgers succeeds, it will be after quite a few bumps - and we've already had nice ones to start his reign. I hope he succeeds, despite the doom and gloom of the site.

I just watched us struggle to draw against Hearts and then get outclassed by Arsenal, at home. We've conceded 7 goals in three league games and only scored 2 - both from set pieces. The squad is about as good as Middlesborugh when they had that good cup run once, and we're owned by lizards from another galaxy. I'd say it's worthy of a bit of drama.

We weren't outclassed by Arsenal. Sheesh - we've only been really poor in one game so far.

Look, concentrate and I shall make this as simple to understand as possible: WE are the one in the over-washed yellow top, THEY are the one in the green with his sister's old party cossie on top.

Spirit of Shankly get fucked - THAT is how you start a revolution!

Is that Jordan Henderson? I gotta say he did ok against that lizard.

We were garbage in both Hearts games, WBA and today. We've played well once.

We were playing back ups against Hearts. What were you expecting? We were very poor against WBA.

We weren't poor at all today -

I've noticed since you've started posting here (welcome btw) that you're on miserable git so I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise. Let's help you along - we're shit, we're going to get relegated and we'll be signing Michael Owen tomorrow. Enjoy it.

I think Arsenal totally outclassed us today mate. When I got back from the game it made me laugh reading the Pre match thread about how Arsenals midfield was poor and we would run all over them.

Diaby and Cazorla were fucking quality today. Didn't see Diaby give the ball away once.

Fair play to GKMacca, he's managed to turn this site into something more painful than watching Arsenal hoist a fat cock inside us for 90 minutes.

Better posters have been banned for less.
