To recap my post in the other thread : if we finish W8 D4 L4 that would still mean Arsenal needing 34 points so W10 D4 L1 (or a variation of). City would need 40 points so W13 D1 L1.

We need a LB and CB. A LB might be harder to source but a CB, there's plenty around who would be happy to be 3rd choice. Konate and VVD remain our top two pairing. I have mentioned Olivier Boscagli who is rated highly and as his contract ends in June should be available at a cut price.

The reality is City have chased teams down. I think it was in the last few weeks we lost ground to City and the Arse finishing 9 and 7 points behind respectively. I think even in game week 27 we were still top If in April we are still 9 points ahead, then I can believe we can win the title, until then I am not counting my chickens

City’s recent winning streak has been against teams toward the bottom. Admittedly good for confidence but not a great indicator. PSG was a more reliable barometer of their current capabilities against stronger teams

Villa should be selling Watkins though. They're up against PSR and a sale would do them good. Watkins is in his prime, must be close to paid off on the books and they can ride Duran for another few years.
