It really doesn't.Well to be fair it says he isn't.

I cant really argue with Mr Rodgers transfers so far, Allen, Sturridge, Borini, Assaidi and Coutinho represent a really exciting future.
Ah come on. That's like saying that Suarez is constantly booked for being a bit of a cunt, but he hasn't murdered anyone yet so he might actually be really nice."but to date, Coutinho hasn’t suffered with anything long-term'
I took Oncy's post as very tongue in cheek to be honest Gerry. Maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age though. It's odd isn't it? I mean they haven't all been excellent or anything, but they all look decent or more than decent and look like they could be in the squad in a few years. I'm not sure if we've ever had two transfer windows in a row where we could say that.
Obviously it's early days, but it looks promising

You can never tell these days - The slippery devil.I think oncy was being legit.
Ha! Fair enough - I did a quick look on wiki and he's played 96 times since 2009. That's not too bad for someone considered to be a 'crock concern'. I don't know fuck all about him though so what do I know. 😉Ah come on. That's like saying that Suarez is constantly booked for being a bit of a cunt, but he hasn't murdered anyone yet so he might actually be really nice.
I know nothing about him either, and that stat is slightly reassuring. I just hoped we would avoid injury prone players after the Aquaman / Carroll / Kewell signings. Fingers crossed we have done our research.Ha! Fair enough - I did a quick look on wiki and he's played 96 times since 2009. That's not too bad for someone considered to be a 'crock concern'. Nah I'm not negative on him signing at all I'm really excited about it. Just think it's gonna be awhile before we see his true ability as he will need time to adapt. I'm no expert on him at all, just spoken to a few inter fans who were telling me all about him and how long it took for him to settle.Sturridge has done ok. So did Suarez come to think of it. Both signings that rocketed out of the blocks so to speak.
I just find it amusing that some people (Glen C in this case) seem to have a negative outlook based (I'm assuming) on nothing at all. Maybe Glen C does know what he's talking about. Maybe he's a follower of Serie A or Inter Milan. Maybe he has followed Coutinho's career so far from Brazil to Italy to LFC and is therefore perfectly placed to form such an opinion. I don't know. Maybe he can enlighten us?
Fair enough mate. Based on absolutely nothing I reckon the fella will be a sensation! 🙂Nah I'm not negative on him signing at all I'm really excited about it. Thats exactly my point. They are for our future. The players we signed for the here and now Carroll, Downing, Enrique, Henderson etc they were the problem.Yet not one of his new signings have made a real impact so far - bar Sturridge's first three outings and a few from Allen.
Not being pessimistic, I too like the look of most of them so far just saying for me the verdict's still very much out.
Şahin turned out a flop though.
Probably not. With the way Rodgers' team is set up, keeping the ball moving at all time and rotating positions throughout the game, the traditional DM role seems to be evaporating.
A solid DM, who's good on the ball and love tackling would be great. Allen seems a bit too soft and gets pushed around quite a bit. Moreover, he seems to be more of a center midfielder whose main job is to distribute the ball and sits along side the DM anyway. That only leaves us with Lucas. We need more than Lucas.
*agrees*I think we just need Yaya Toure.
More importantly.. Enrique is back for the Arsenal game..![]()
Don't get too excited.
They have taken the piece down already.
Someone must have been a bit premature.
It happens.
