Some answers:

Pacheco:

Pacheco was on the verge of joining Real Validollid on loan last Friday but it fell through because of Spanish club's cash problems. He failed to impress in pre-season but considering how small the squad is now he's likely to get a second chance to force his way into the manager's plans, probably starting with EL games.

Doni:

Doni was granted extended leave to head home to Brazil for family reasons in pre-season. Still awaiting news on when he will be back.

Wilson:

I'd expect Wilson to go out on loan barring injuries to other of the senior centre-backs.. He's a long way down the pecking order.

Agger:

I'd expect Agger to sign a new deal over the coming weeks. One of the big plusses of the window was keeping him from the clutches of Man City.

FSG:

When I was in Boston on the pre-season tour John Henry made it clear the owners had become much more hands on with the running of the club. But there was certainly a breakdown in communication last week. FSG know it should have been handled better.

Ayre:

Ian Ayre negotiates deals but it wasn't his fault Liverpool failed to get Dempsey. The Americans simply wouldn't agree to meeting the fee Fulham wanted. The manager has been very positive about the working relationship he has with the MD

Assaidi :

There was a delay with his international clearance and then he picked up a knock in training. Too early to say if he will be involved at Sunderland but certainly he will be involved not long after the international break.

Seems so strange that the manager hasnt quit yet given his barbaric treatment.

Carroll:

LFC have the option of recalling him but that's unlikely. He doesn't fit Rodgers' style and he still won't in January.

Scouting Network:

the scouting network is being completely overhauled. The owners know it has to be improved. David Fallows and Barry Hunter have been recruited from Man City and hopefully we will see the benefits of that in the upcoming windows.

Man City scouts? That's good news, they pick up great players

We just need the fucking billions to pay for them now

Apardonme? We have an option top recall Carroll, but we'd rather suffer without a striker? Really? Style of play or not, he's an experienced player and an international, that's better than fuck all else.

If we're struggling come Jan you can bet we'll recall him, regardless of what's being said right now.

He's out for 6 weeks isn't he?

I think there's more to it than we've been told

We'll buy a striker in january. The owners are forced to spend a bit of money after the failings last friday.

Why though? They've already stated their case financially. By the time we reach January we could be well out of contention for any decent placing in the league so its just shutting the door after the horse is bolted.

My concern is, that Dalglish was sacked for "underachievement", what is the achievement and indeed under achievement goal for this season? Cos if we fail due to a lack of strikers, its hardly right to sack the manager.

My expectations are low as far as league position is concerneed but if we have a leaner, younger, and hungrier squad in place for next season playing the football the manager wants then that is achievement. A good cup run to boost morale and swell the coffers would be nice too.

Just a thought, come Jan, if someone like Llorente or Walcott, whose contract is ending at the end of the current season is being targetted, what are the chances of the board blocking any move because they deem it as 'overpaying'?

Probably quite high. He'll then go somewhere else.

Didn't that happen with Adam Johnson?

We can sign Llorente and Huntelaar on a pre contract in january.
There will be loads of other clubs after them so its a small chance anyhoo, but we can...
