I read an article which showed that the players were due aroound 5 million 8m bonuses for winning the league... I was thinking wouldn't be great if the club gave all of the non playing staff a pay raise or bonus as a well-done for their efforts as well. I think it would be a fitting gesture and would be a nice way to put a positive mark over that furlough scandal... Maybe 19% bonus of their yearly wages would be a nice touch?

It would be nice but not prudent as we have a big massive black hole. I am sure the club has given the staff some shopping vouchers, but nothing near what your suggesting.

Yeah and were paying other teams as well due to transfer clauses. Charlton will get some cash for Gomez. Southampton for Lallana and maybe a few others. I think Sunderland is getting some cash too.

I know when Mercedes win an F1 title, every member of the team gets £10k regardless of their position within it. It would be nice if the club recognised the efforts of everybody in some way.

I doubt the club could afford it considering how much they're losing from other avenues this season. Wouldn't impact the players in the slightest to all handover their bonuses to the non playing staff considering they're all earning 50-250k a week without bonuses.

Probably they will and we might not hear of it. I'm speculating here, I am sure Klopp knowing the kind of guy he is will make sure the staff get rewarded too (couple hundred pounds)

I doubt the non-playing staff are expecting any large bonuses, and there is nothing to suggest players don't tip non-playing staff anyway.

I'm not trying to have a you at you bud but I feel shopping vouchers, a couple of hundred pounds and supposed ongoing tips from the players isn't enough. I'm sorry I think the club has it in them to dig a bit deeper. Yes I know Liverpool have a lot of non playing staff on their books but I think they deserve more than couple hundred pounds and a shopping voucher. What is the weekly collective wages of the squad? Surely they could use that as a maximum and share that that for all of the non playing staff? I'm not a mathematician but I'm sure it works amount to more than £200 and I feel it would take give everyone including people like the cleaners and cafeteria staff a real lift.

Also Liverpool make a lot of side money from being recognized as the club with strong socialistic values...the way the club rinses you'll never walk alone...so this gesture would go some way towards rewarding the current staff who all contributed towards the 30 year wait for the league title just as much as the players. But as you said positively in your post Jurgen will have some say and input and hopefully get FSG to do something relatively worthwhile for the players.

I understand most of the staff got a bonus for the Champions League win (not just Melwood, but across the club). Not sure how much it was but I think it was a meaningful amount rather than a token gesture. I expect the club would do something similar this year, and if money is tight then maybe they could give staff some additional holiday in lieu of a cash reward.
