Yossi does cause me optimism too,he just destroys it in equal measure. He very rarely knows when to pass or shoot. ALways with the extra touches!

I don't want to sell him, but If we already have an adequate replacement lined up then happy days

This season, probably. OTher seasons however he's done it when we've played well. It's bizarre how someone with so much creativity can lack so much intelligence

Ah Yossitis. He has a habit of taking that one touch too many instead of pulling the trigger. Can be very annoying but I do enjoy his ability to carry the ball into dangerous positions.

Yossi's a wonderfully gifted player who's chronically under-used in our side. I'd imagine his goal/assist record per minutes is pretty good and he offers us the flair and creativity that most of our squad lacks.

He's certainly suffered this year from not getting a run of games and then being used on the left, even though everyone but Rafa can see the folly in doing so.

He'll be a valuable member of our first team squad for some years yet I'd hope.

I think you make very valid points but he isn't getting any younger and his best attributes of dribbling and running is only gonna deteriorate.

Welcome aboard Marc with a C.

Well, he was 30 at the start of the month, but pace isn't his biggest attribute, and I disagree with Fabio slightly about lack of intelligence.
If you have touch and brains you can carry on quite a while.
As Buddah says playing him on the left so frequently was daft as it is clearly his worst position.
He is about the only player we have , apart from Maxi, who can unlock a defense with a bit of craft.
having said all that I agree with Brendan, in an ideal world he would be a squad player.
