Copied the link off a friend who copied it from a Liverpool fan group on Facebook. I was hoping somebody on here could verify it?

They are safe and boring and in that sense predictable.
Not that I particularly care.

better to be safe and attractive than 'edgy' and ugly.

I would say fairly minimalist, and simple, Count, which I like. Not fussy and simple piping
Why would the away kit have a round collar and the other two V's?

White

Yellow

Thank you.

true. I would prefer the 3rd kit to be yellow.

I don't go nuts at the match like I used to, but then I'm old. Priority for seats on the kop should be given to males under 30 who've had at least 6 pints of Stella or equivalent.

It's not a massive shock that away crowds are more lively. It's because it's gangs of young men who've been drinking and snorting all day.
[/quote]

Which is the point exactly.
I made this point some years ago that when the Kop became seated , the vast majority of seats like the rest of the ground also became season ticket holders only.
So that means there is no "churn". In the old scheme of things you started off on the Kop and as you became an old git you filtered through to the stands, thus making room for more vociferous young men to take your place.
The Kop became seated in 1994 that is eighteen years ago. So a thirty year old who took his season ticket then is going to be nearly 50 and a forty year old nearly 60, so like the rest of the ground it is steadily ageing. I am not saying I sit on my hands all game and don't sing along when the moment strikes me at 56, but not with anything like the passion of when I was 18, having queued up for two hours to get in, you made the most of it, and yes all the people that wanted to sing loudly and jump around went as close behind the goal as possible.

So Ryan is right, but so is Krump on a couple of things.

The Kop on its day is still fantastic, but those days are fewer and further between.

I think what happens now more than it did is when the place does get bouncing its the whole stadium and not just the Kop.

Not sure what the answer is unless it's a sort of euthanasia for old gits and women ...*gulp

It's sexist as fuck, & ageist, but Krump is right, males below 30 only in the Kop would be well louder.

That said that ridiculously fucking stupid ban on drinking in the stands has fucked up the atmosphere a bit too. It's easier singing when three sheets to the wind.

these days I definately get the impression people just want to watch rather than participle (entertain me attitude), which is your choice seeing as you've bought your ticket but I definately think when the new seats are divved out they group the people that want to sing together as I've said before.

Yes please.

Rumours that the badge is now gonna be just the Liverbird with LFC underneath, with the flame on the back of the shirt.

Sounds like the one poster above. Niiicee, though personally I'd prefer it if the flame was incorporated in the logo somehow.

Beautiful.

The thing is. This kind of shirt would get all kind of positive mediaspin. Would be a marvellous bit of new-thinking on behalf of the shirt manufacturers. Within few months everyone would know who Warrior is (as everyone would have to ask) and soon Adidas, Nike etc. would follow suit and remove or at least tone down their own logoes.

Just it. Do Warrior.

Nah you don't go back to a classic shirt, the sponsor alone would fuck it. A new minimalistic design though, could be nice.

Why *not* go back to a classic though? The Arse did it for their final season at Highbury and I don't recall them having problems as a result.

i think it's a fair point, though: it kind of defeats the object if you have a simple, classic, design and then emblazon it with the Standard Chartered logo!

personally i always think people get a bit too precious about this. the only recent home kit i've disliked has been this current one, which, tbf, is really bad. but any of the three preceding it are absolutely fine, imo, if we're going to accept current reality and allow sponsors and kit makers to be part of the design equation.

Yeah, I think it defies the point having a classic retro kit & having sponsors & PL badges etc on it, it just doesn't work for me.

Yes I like minimalist, but retro with sponsor, esp a huge fuck off one like Standard Chartered, isn't workable.

Yep, it seems every time a kit comes out, it's customary to slate it, often for what seems like the sake of it. I think the Yellow effort a few years back is probably the only one I've disliked in recent years. The current Black one is great.
