Good player but he's not the kind of type we need to go forward in my opinion. He's to similar to Kuyt and Maxi and to be honest I'd prefer those players. Reckon Rafa does as well.

I reckon Maxi's about the same age isn't he, anyways you're spot on.

We really are in need of a few attacking-minded players with attributes such as pace, skill and ability to create something on their own. Yossi on his days ticks a lot of these boxes but he's often played out of position and have got a tendency to drift out of games completely.

Though Babel is obviously the more limited footballer of the two he's actually making us a slightly better balanced team on the left.

We aren't going to get a higher offer than £10M for him, so i'd take it.

decent left sided players are scarce, I can't even think of any we'd come close to signing. what are the options?

Rafa needs to shut up, he's had investment before this season and blown it. Admittedly this summer he got a bit screwed over, but he should have dealt with it better.

I wouldn't trust him with 50p to go and get me a pack of Hubba Bubba from the shop. He'd come back with a half eaten jar of marmite and some lint.

I don't Rafa has said anything wrong.

All he's said is that Liverpool has one shot, maybe two, at getting a one 20-million pound player. This season, Magic has been a relative success but Aqua hasn't.

Man Utd, Chelsea and Man City can maybe have 3-4 shots at buying a 20-million and therefore there error of margin for a mistake is greater.

He's spent £20 million each on two players in two summer windows and fucked them both up. He's in no position to be demanding money from the board if he's going to waste it.

I have to know in what way you think Kuyt and Yossi are similar players, KHL? Seriously, about the only similarity I can find is that neither has english as their first language and they both have scored goals.

Kuyt is all action with no touch, works his butt off every time, zero creativity, physically very strong, no pace to speak of but can score big goals. Yossi is far less action but with a wonderful first touch, doesn't work anywhere near as hard but is one of our most creative players, not strong physically, surprisingly quick over 20 yards and can score big goals.

In what other way's are they similar?
