Interesting you should mention Ajax - if I remember correctly, they don't often lose their Academy players, do they? Always seem to be able to hold on to the kids they want, keep them at the club and promote them to the first team, from where they fulfill their star promise and eventually move on.

If I remember correctly, one of the commentators for the recent NextGen game between Sporting and us mentioned that two of the guys from last season's Sporting team had been sold to Barca, while Texeira has of course joined us.
