Ah, fucking sending off. Is there anything more boring than watching a side grind out a draw after going down to 10 men? They should stop giving them in almost all circumstances, instead just have longer bans based on video evidence. It'd be a much more just way of punishing a player, and you wouldn't ruin an entertaining game.

Sterling has been poor again.

Suso has had an off night.

Shelvey has been excellent at RB and LB

Teixiera has been a class above everyone on our team ... the kid has class.

Liverpool against Manchester United is a big match - and that's the case even when the youth teams play, it seems.

Visiting Manchester United fans lit and threw a flare on to the pitch at Langtree park as their U21s defeated their bitter rivals team thanks to Michele Fornasier's late strike.

The Italian defender scored from close range in injury-time as two sides that featured some more well-known faces seemed set for a draw.

Alex Buttner and Nick Powell started for United, along with Jeffery Schlupp who is on trial from Leicester, while Raheem Sterling, Suso, Andre Wisdom and Jonjo Shelvey lined up for Liverpool in the U21 Barclays Premier League clash.

The home side had Stephen Sama sent off early in the second half for his second yellow card.

United did not capitalise until the very end, when Fornasier pounced in the 94th minute.

There was also an incident when a United supporter ran on to the pitch to confront Liverpool's Adam Morgan.

Cant disgree with any of this except MU's tactics seemed to consist of crowd out and kick the shit out of Sterling!
Suso looked injured to me - he was limping for most of the match
Shelvey was excellent but has he been to the Paul Scholes school of tackling?
Texiera was the best player on the pitch.
Coady was not far behind him playing out of position as a centre back.
Terrible pitch - shite ref

What's happened to Sokolik? Injured? I think that's the 2nd game in a row that Coady's had to play at CB for the U-21s.
