ooo.

that a rumour or a concrete?
Bit of both. My mate was a steward at the bridge and has kept in contact with a couple of lads who seem to have a bit of insider. He told me they bid for pato before it broke, and that zhirkov signed last week.

Just been told that the odds of Tevez joining City have shortened from 1/7 to 1/25. Dunno if it's true or not, but if it is, maybe that means it'll be confirmed soon.

United complete Obertan transfer.
I know nothing of him other than he's class in FM09. If he goes for the reported £3m, it could prove to be a bargain.

A few friends went to watch France V Ireland in an U-19 game and Obertan was best player on pitch by miles. Blanc is shocked united have signed him. He sent him out on loan this year as he felt he wasn't ready.

Some report suggested Blanc recommended Obertan to Fergie

I read something about Blanc saying Obertan has a lot to learn yet in all areas.

No-one posted this & it's obviously great, for a left-back, ha ha.

My Evertonian mate always said they should sign Georgie Weah and play him right-back;

I remember the Weah goal, everyone tried to replicate it in school the week after.
Then everyone tried to replicate the Beckham goal from the half way line also, I managed the Beckham one

Nevermind, against the England under 21's a couple of months ago David N'Gog was the best player on the pitch by miles.

Another striker? Wtf!?

From the Mirror - I'd love for them to pay 50m or so for another Berbatov-type player (albeit a better one).....

Sir Alex Ferguson is weighing up a move for Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Manchester United boss Fergie, who yesterday completed the £3.5million signing of Bordeaux winger Gabriel Obertan, has missed out on several of his top targets to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lyon striker Karim Benzema opted to join Real Madrid, while Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery revealed his desire to play in La Liga.

That has left Fergie with limited options in terms of finding a forward to supply the goals without Ronaldo - despite the free signing of former England striker Michael Owen.

Now Inter striker Ibrahimovic, 27, has emerged as a target, with Fergie having had the Sweden international watched on several occasions last season by his European scouts.

Inter would be reluctant to sell £30mrated Ibrahimovic, twice voted Serie A Player of the Year, but sources in Italy suggest they may be persuaded by a sizeable fee.

Yeah, weird if true. Eto'o is available and seemingly happy to go there, so why not simply buy him? I really hope they keep fucking up their summer spending like they have so far.

Another nutter who'd blow his top off when things don't go his way. After Ronaldo's tantrums I'm not sure Fergie has the heart to take another player with the same temperament.

Inter have stated today that Ibrahimovic and Maicon will stay at the club. So it's a bullshit story.
