tbh eyebrows were raised at jorginho and trossard. Both turned out to be very astute

I can't think of our last astute signing. Maybe Jota?

Diaz, I think. Swooped in and held off Spurs. Price was high but decent for his talent level.

Eyebrows were raised about Jota's fee but transfer team saw something most of us didn't.

Hat trick of assists for Trossard. 5 assists 1 goal in 9 appearances. £27m well spent.

Always liked Trossard; he makes good decisions on the ball. Good fit for Arsenal too; a better fit than he would have been for us, I think.

Colina calling out the refs in the PL over the lack of added time. Will be forced to add more next season with new rules appaz. Good for the game given its a average of 55 mins of effective playing time.

Then the refs will get criticized for adding on too much....very easy to get the balance right, introduce a stop clock and every time ball is out of play clock stocks until play is resumed.

Easy

Carrick > Gerrard, Parker and Lampard, as manager/head coach. 4 points away from automatic promotion after taking over when they were 22nd.

Utd fans are screaming and crying about bad officiating and corruption after the 0-0 against Soton.
The red card is fine I think, but they should probably have been awarded a penalty for the handball.

I think they're still upset over last week personally, we can all scream and shout and throw out all kinds of hand gestures at refs.....quite frankly all they're doing is wasting their breaths as bad officiating has become the new adopted system for the FA and PGMOL. Only seen the red card incident once & not seen much of the reaction to it but he appears to go in high, get a nick on the ball first before going in on the player.

This whole subjectivity bullshit they hide behind is what's causing all this inconsistency......don't know if anyone remembers Virgil's high challenge on Mertens or Onana but those could've easily been judged to been reds too.

Also don't see many Utd fans talking about Rashford's worthy of a red card dive....I mean wtf is this??

United fans are full of shite comparing our pen on Saturday to theirs.

The Bournemouth defender had his arms aloft as a result of jumping yes but as the arms fell he magically raised one again to block a header at goal. I only caught a brief glimpse of their penalty shout and it was a defender with all four limbs on the ground who accidentally touched the ball with his arm.

It probably was a penalty but they’re completely forcing the comparison to suggest there’s some bias going on.

Yea they’ve only rediscovered their voices recently and already talking shite

They should’ve fucked off Zaha years ago.

Didn’t they reject 40m or something from Everton few years ago?

Might’ve just imagined that and really they’ve been having the same problems as us trying to flog off our deadwood.

they should sell zaha, buy a proper striker
eze and olise are good creative players who fill the void

Both overrated, there's a reason Palace are among the lowest scorers in the league.....Olise has assisted more goals for City than he has Palace.

with those two and a striker they would do ok
i guess one problem is they have zero attacking push from full back

Leipzig caving in to City's pressure, given it away about 20 times in the opening 10 mins.

Here's 1 for everyone.

Liverpool to finish 4th, Everton to stay up and City to win CL
or
Liverpool to finish 8th, Everton to go down and City knocked out tonight?
