Not a good weekend so far for refs and VAR. Newcastle robbed, West Ham scored a perfectly good goal which Mendy gets disallowed by play acting imho and then Coutinho is wrongly flagged for offside before scoring. Awful. Just such a low standard by the people operating VAR.

VAR is mostly shite at the mo, but apparently because the red had ruled infield they couldnt even review it. The officiating is a joke, and rather than have the tech setup to make decisions better and easier it seems designed to try and stop them looking like mugs. Oh for a bit of common sense in the game.
