Let’s go to the Liverpool thread from 7pm yesterday.
[article]Hopefully Real will out shithouse them in the CL. No love for Madrid but at least we won't have the Spanish media ramming it down our throats. Those scouse cunts have been shite in 2 finals and won both so let's pray they don't make it a treble. Do the business Blues tomorrow and put pure pressure on the dips on Tuesday.

[article]They'll be guzzling the meds down quicker than I can get through a box of Famous Names on Christmas day.

[article]In Dublin this weekend. Had to close the hotel window before because of the plastics on the street. I mean, I understand the links with Ireland but it’s cringe seeing these guys, scarfs etal, from a different country

[article]Could our worst nightmare actually happen ??
City boys, its gonna be difficult tomorrow without our best back four, but please please please for all City fans (and even the Rags) dont fuck it up tomorrow.

[article]Two trophies won on penalty shoot outs, very meh
[/article]
[article]Thought the scousers booing the national anthem and Prince William was a disgrace. Must be the Irish in the crowd supporting them, absolutely zero respect for anyone or anything
[/article]
[article]Has toothymctoothytwat been there 7 years now?
What a remarkable achievement to win the three domestic trophies in that time. Well done. Bravo. Sieg Heil or whatever he says.
Doing the exact same thing in one season, oh and throw in a Community Shield too (rags count it in the gpc trophy count) obviously pales into insignificance then.

MOST CUNTS ROLLS OVER FOR THEM
[article]The best way to prevent the mass hysteria is by ignoring the hype. It’s not our job to stop Liverpool. City are the only team currently doing just that. The other teams need to stop rolling over. The quad is not happening anyway. Champions league is 50/50.

[article]When did they officially turn into Millwall?
[/article]
[article]I get people saying that if we diminish and disrespect what the dippers have achieved, we also diminish our own achievements. There's no doubt that the challenge of livarpoo has forced us to raise our own game and not become complacent.
For their part, the dips are an extremely effective team, but comparing their football to ours is comparing McDonald's to a Michelin starred restaurant. Their midfield in particular exerts precious little control in their games, but their forwards do tend to bury their chances. Paradoxically this makes their games more exciting as there are more mistakes and potentially more excitement than our metronomic strangling of games.
However I find it extremely distasteful the way they physically target players, systematically foul with impunity and generally show contempt for their opponents, Robertson finding it hilarious to push opponents into the hoardings, fake hardman that he is.
Then there's the decisions they get on a regular basis. We may all have confirmation bias, but fans of literally every other team notice it too.
Their fans ain't great and seem to have a larger proportion of maladjusted thugs than even the other red arse cheeks. These bestest fans have a great many theories why we're successful, all based on cheating, doping - financial or chemical, paying off CAS, pigmol, uefa and the rest. Perhaps having had experience of some of these behaviours, they just assume we must do the same.
Klopp isn't a particularly likeable individual but he's a decent manager and likely to be our main rival whilst here. 3 CL finals is nothing to sniff at, but his domestic record is ordinary. Perhaps next season they'll decide to compete in all competitions, that will spur us on,I hope to finally secure the CL. But to them I'd say respect is a two way street, you have to earn it in order to receive it. A proportion of the graceless knuckle draggers who follow you do you no favours, even if the media are terrified of offending you by reporting on some of your unsavoury support.
[/article]
[article]Winning 2 domestic cups is decent. No doubt about it....but if they don't win the CL then it's not the best season.
Also, they'll never be a great team until they've won back to back titles - that's what we had rammed down our throats.
[/article]
[article]They are probably the 2nd best side in the world and it’s up to us to save humanity that in ensuring 1 title in 30 years as opposed to 2 in five.

I’d probably love him if he was our manager. But he’s not, so I think he’s a dickhead. Glad Guardiola has a bit more decorum about him.
[/article]
[article]It's the whole media doing full on fellatio for them whilst ignoring their egregious wrongdoing that irks me...the dissing of our achievements is contemptible
yep the very establishment media they claim to despise in the republic of Murkyside
I suppose those paragons of "socialist" virtue Mc Veigh and Dorris are fans as well eh?
Lucy Powell puts the pair of them to shame
[/article]
[article]Still raging that Thiago got away with TWO out of control off the ground two-footed challenges yesterday.
Alright, maybe the ref was unsighted, but VAR???
Both straight Red's
[/article]
[article]It is all a media construct to shift copy / induce clicks. In reality, has the "Quad" ever actually been on? City have been in control of the league since Christmas and everyone else has been chasing. "Ours to win", of course but I would suggest it is more "yours to lose". Think it was just after the end of yesterdays game that I heard the first commentator actually use that line of reasoning rather than going for the glory quote.
[/article]
[article]Does the cup double despite not scoring a goal in either final. Helping hand from officials in both finals ( and previous rounds ie Carabo v Leicester, FA v Cardiff).
Must be easy to win when your immune to cards, Var rules out a good goal and ignores penalties and get a Europa standard draw run to the final in the CL and yet again the slightly tough opposition get sending offs in 3 of the 4 games v them.
