Spurs 2-0 up maybe their better to win this going into our game Sunday. *false hope*

citeh 1-1 Atalanta

@got red on me - really nice graphic mate, with this sort of thing, and the authorities tracking us down with @FoxForceFive streaming warning - we actually look like a sophisticated operation.

Anyway - I see Sterling is still going strong, despite all my predictions about how he was going to fuck it all up. You know guys - he is only this good because of Pep's training and guidance. Otherwise he would be going down the drain.

When have we last performed really well against Spurs?

I mean, other stuff sticks in the memory a bit, but I feel like they always are really competitive.

Same as United in my book, always tough in recent years. Even the wins I remember seem fortunate.

I felt the opposite so I took a brief check.

13/14: Spurs - Pool 0-5 Pool -Spurs 4-0
14/15: Spurs - Pool 0-3 Pool -Spurs 3-2
15/16: Spurs - Pool 0-0 Pool - Spurs 1-1
16/17: Spurs - Pool 1-1 Pool - Spurs 2-0 (League Cup Pool - Spurs 2-1)
17/18: Spurs - Pool 4-1 Pool - Spurs 2-2
18/19: Spurs - Pool 1-2 Pool- Spurs 2-1 (CL Pool - Spurs 2-0)

That sums up: Played 14 Won 9 Draw 4 Loss 1 Goals for 30 Goals against: 13

They definately improved after the VillasBoas period but we still have the upper hand when it comes face to face. That 4-1 defeat was brutal though.

How many years now have City participated in the CL.

Other than their 2 ties against us & Spurs last 2 years, have they ever been in an entertaining game?

Quite a few: they've lost twice to Barcelona and I was quite entertained when Real knocked them out and then Monaco the year after.

I guess it's just the last few stuck in my memory. I felt like we didn't really control the midfield at all, but attack vs defense worked out better for us than them.

Ok opening by Chelsea. Ajax been impressive this season so interesting to see how it developes. But So far Chelsea been able to keep them at a distance.

Pepe with two late free kicks for Arsenal, and they win 3-2 despite being poor most of the game.
EmeryOut trending after Sheffield United, and before the match too as no Ozil!

Maguire isn't very good. He's only in the media's good graces because he's English.
