So we risk our best available keeper in a nothing match because of a dislike of Adrian? Nah we're paying him so play him and give Kev the break ready for Fulham and Spurs (assuming Ali isn't back).Kenny Everitt has in nets again - Adrian is done - by the end of the season he shouldn’t even be on the bench in a match like this.
Either Matip or Fabs has to play to organise that defence.
Robbo defo gets a rest and Trent could do with 65 mins.
Give Gini a break too - but I’d be tempted to start Hendo and give him a half at least - Jones & Naby alongside.
Origi, Jotta & Minamino up front.
See how we go - bring on some kids from 65 mins on if everything is hunky d.
The flip side is that this would be very valuable experience for Kev. Although it doesn't show, he's had virtually no top level experience and every minute he can get we should give him.So we risk our best available keeper in a nothing match because of a dislike of Adrian? Ditto CBs - we can lose this 5-0 it doesn't matter one iota, what matters is keeping our players fit, rested and Covid free not risking them unnecessarily on a trip to Denmark.
Kids & squaddies please.
I believe that youth under a certain age (or homegrown) can be played (maybe U 21 ? Not sure) and not only those registered for the group stages. There are certainly some regulations covering permissible youth players.I see mention of this kid and that but aren't we only allowed to play kids we have registered for this competition. Might that actually rule out some of the kids mentioned in this thread?
Course there is (joking aside). If we could just forfeit this 3-0 (given covid situation in Denmark/Germany) then I'd do that ! Though I'm sure the youth lads would love a runout. There is no point in playing Adrian. NO POINT!!!
It's the absolute definition of a dead rubber why in earth would we risk one of our two 1st team quality CBs in Fabs and play Gini (who is crying out for a rest) with Spurs, a possible title deciding game, on the very near horizon? Overseas trips are currently rife with Covid risks and that would rule a player out of the Spurs game. Anyone not absolutely needing the minutes (e.g. coming back from injury) shouldn't even be going. Here is the squad list - https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/clubs/7889--liverpool/squad/
We should start the two lads coming back from injury, and Bobby is finding form maybe a good game to see if he can bag one or two.
---------------Kelleher---------------
Trent---Williams--Fabs---Tsmikas. (Koumetio for Fabs?)
------------Naby----Gini------------- (U23 instead of Gini)
--------------Minamino
----Jota-------Bobby-------Origi-- (U23 instead of Bobby)
Whatever happens it should be 5 U23s coming on, surely!

Would love to see Lewis play
