If that is the only change I'd be both surprised and seriously disappointed.
This really is a painful agenda Ross.
I know you'll probably backtrack and point out that, surprise surprise, like every player in World Football, he does have the odd shit game, but his record this season is exceptional, because you know, as everyone around here who's capable of separating how much of a dickhead he can be and how brilliant a football he is, knows, he's exceptional.
Do you realise how boring this cynical bollocks gets?
The simple point I was getting at was if he looked so out of sorts on Sunday I don't expect a two day turnaround to have done anything to change that.
Do you know how boring it is to see you get the wrong end of the stick all the time ?

I've change my mind.

Daniel Agger, the Liverpool centre back, has been told to place a greater emphasis on his defending by Brendan Rodgers, the manager, ahead of the Barclays Premier League match against Norwich City on Wednesday night.
The Denmark international was dropped after a disappointing display in the Merseyside derby against Everton and replaced by Kolo Toure for Liverpool’s last fixture, a 3-1 defeat against Hull City.
Rodgers has previously spoke in glowing terms about Agger’s quality on the ball, but the manager hinted at reservations about the player’s ability to cope with the physical threat posed by opposition strikers.
Agger, who was the subject of interest from Barcelona in the summer, has looked particularly suspect in the air on occasions and that has perhaps explained Rodgers’ preference for Toure, given the experienced Ivorian’s commanding presence.
“The first thing you have to do is defend,” Rodgers said, when asked about the decision to drop Agger. “The first attribute isn’t about the ball. It is to defend. When you can defend, you then look to build the game from there.
“I just felt we have struggled at times against big physical opponents so Toure has obviously coped well with that type of player.
“So that was the idea, putting him against Hull, and obviously [Martin] Skrtel has been excellent since coming in. It was simply tactical.”
Rodgers also confessed to being uncertain as to his first-choice centre back partnership having signed Toure on a free transfer in addition to a combined £25m spent on Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori, the young Portuguese player.
Doubts remain over whether Agger and Martin Skrtel can work together as a partnership even though the pair have been at the club since 2008. Rodgers elected to use Jamie Carragher at the heart of Liverpool’s defence last season, before the former England international retired in the summer.
Rodgers accepted that he must strive to get a settled backline rather than chopping and changing all the time.
“It is something I need to look at in order to get that consistency,” Rodgers added “The last couple of games we were disappointed with the goals at Everton and obviously we made mistakes. So that has been the difficulty for us, getting that balance, the partnership that could cope with all types of strikers.
“There has been lots of change, and some of that has been down to me, knowing every game is an absolute cup final for us.
“If I feel I have need to change it going into a game to get a result, then I will do. But of course I also need to look at it from the coaching perspective as well, that that little run in the team might breed the consistency to the defence even though we have had to change it.”
This should be a good game to see if Aspas has anything about him, I would pick him to see what he can do against a shit side at home. It may give him the confidence boost he needs. Sahko and Skrtel for me in cd.
He's not wrong about Agger tbf. He needs to improve defensively
I agree with Aspas ... I feel if he scores tonight, the story will be very different for him ... If he doesn't, can't see him turning around this miserable run for him.
ROY RODGERS!!!
I like Agger but I'm sick to hole of reading about him in every fucking thread.
