Decent half. Looking better going forward. Hopefully the goals will come in the 2nd half

Milner really disappointing me so far as it seems he has learnt from his friends around him that it's fine to never look for the forward pass and just pass it back and forth till everyone fall asleep

Biggest high is watching us with Sturridge again.

Low is Milner at Center. Simply not good enough. Should he be shoehorned into a DM?

It's not an agenda...

I'm pointing out.. with this formation, what is the point of the other signings we have made...

I don't get it...

What the fuck are you going on about? He's played every signing we've made so far this season, some of them are settling (Firmino), Milner and Benteke are both playing in their favored roles today, as is Clyne, while Gomez gets a rest after playing pretty much every minute of every game so far.

If he didn't change it and stuck with what's not been working you'd call him stubborn, or clueless. He makes changes and he's still clueless.

But you don't have an agenda.

Milner doesn't seem to be on the same wavelength so far but hope he'll pick it up in the second half.

It doesn't 'alf look like Lucas and Milner has been set up as water carriers rather than out and out DM. Y'know, doing the boring, mopping up where necessary.

It's a fact, as mind-blowing as it is, that we have posters here - and probably quite a few, who would prefer that we lose matches to support their agendas and uphold the siege on SCM.

I say nay and Fuck you very much.

It's hardly groundbreaking is it ???..

352 tends to be a formation teams revert to when the usual status quo has failed..

Like I say there is improvement as we can all see, but it just seems all very last roll of the dice to me...

It doesn't have to be ground breaking.

It has to work!!!!

Milner have more or less never played as a central midfielder. He played out wide at City. That was the main reason to why he left. He wanted to play in the middle.

Square peg round holes approach..

Better yes..

The answer moving forward. .

No..

Tactically managers do approach games differently. It's the ideal game to give Sturridge a run out, Moreno and Sakho both played well midweek and have continued that today, the formation has worked so far, we've got players into the game, the defenders have got license to carry the ball forward, while Clyne & Moreno have supported the attack well and played a part in what opportunities we've had. Norwich have barely had a sniff and we look, with a bit more fitness from Sturridge, like we'll get goals.

Stop moaning for the sake of fucking moaning about Rodgers. This is exactly why I stay away from match threads, because it's a free for all for you and that Moo gobshite to post garbage.

He played in the middle for Villa

That's why I said he's playing in his favoured role. I don't get what point you're making here. So you're essentially agreeing with me then?

It's nothing to do with agendas in my case. I just want Rodgers gone very urgently now. Any wins we get are just delaying that aim.

I can't see Norwich scoring today, unfortunately.

It's interesting to see Sakho (and Can) push up so high. I doubt we'll see this approach very often because other sides will punish us badly. It's working well enough today so far (touch wood).

It's a shame we didn't buy a proper midfielder in the summer.
