Non-LFC Transfer Rumours 2020

As for City's interest, Koulibaly is a very good player, but like someone pointed out, he's 29, and the PL is not a good league to come to in the latter half of your career.

Yes. The one reason for considering him would be the fact that Klopp has high hopes for Hoever and Nat Phillips but knows they're not quite ready yet for full seasons, so a top class experienced player could come in, do a great job for a couple of years and then step aside for one or both of these lads to compete for a place. But as has been said, that would only work if the player coming in didn't cost £40m or more and demand huge wages.

This one could very well happen I reckon. Selling Shaqiri and replacing him with this lad. Who has had a very good season for a Werder Bremen that have been struggeling. 10 goals and 6 assists, playing predominantly on the left. Pacey winger, attacking midfielder.

Liverpool are back in the hunt to sign Milot Rashica after it was revealed his get-out clause could drop to just €15m.
Jurgen Klopp was linked with the Bosnian earlier this season after his impressive form for Werder Bremen. However, interest in Timo Werner saw Liverpool shift their focus.

But with [bcolor=transparent]Liverpool opting against a deal for Werner[/bcolor] – who subsequently joined Chelsea – the Reds have switched their focus back towards Rashica.
Rashica’s clause was reported to be €38m, but now Kicker claims that will drop to just €15m in the event of Bremen’s relegation to Bundesliga 2.
Bremen managed to avoid relegation on the last day, so that release clause business isn't happening now I guess.

The best centre-half in the world? That would make two of them at Anfield, eh?
Cavani, Silva, Fraser should give us cover upfront, at the back and on the wings. Thats just leaves LB and GK. Saka would cost £40m easy, and GK like Asmir Begovic should cost way less than £10m. Selling Wilson, Shaka and Lovren could pay for those two.

They could have replaced Robben with a random poster from SCM for a couple of years and still qualified for the champions league. It is easy to be patient and make prudent financial decisions when the top 2 is almost guaranteed.

Happy to see Sane out of the PL though.

Alphonse Davies and Sane. That Bayern left wing is going to be frightening.

The likes of Barcelona clearly need to watch and learn though. 😛

Snapping up PSG's highly rated Tanguy Kouassi on a free transfer too.

True that. But I think Barcelona's transfer craziness is driven by their desperation to win the champions league literally every season before Messi retires or declines. Madrid having won 4 champions league this decade has not helped. Bayern have a more measured approach.

Glad to see the back of him. One of the players you wish either played for us or in another league. Guardiola didn't appreciate him enough.
Absolutely. I feared him more than Sterling and de Bruyne whenever Liverpool played Man City but he didn’t seem to have a good relationship with Guardiola.

Arf. Yep, you're right. Bugger swore up and down it was only on loan. But then he's never completely forgiven me for ringing him up and reminding him rather forcibly of his prediction after he forecast they'd clean our clocks in 2005. 😀

My bet is it won't be enough. I'll admit he's settling in better than I thought he might, but he's not the guy to get them back to the very top level.

Yah Twitter going on about that ...
tough to read but they're going to spend big imo to try and push Ole over the hump.

They’ve also said that they wont be able to spend big this summer, and that they value Sancho at 50 mill £
