The Levy point I'll give you - his football judgments are less reliable than his general business ones IMO. As far as Kane's concerned, though, what would winning a lesser league, with the team which is all but guaranteed to do so anyway, actually mean?
As opposed to finishing his career with SFA you mean?

Wouldn't disagree with the above. What I don't see is that going to Bayern would be enough of a step up to make it the obvious thing for him to do. At his age, with a young family and a good possibility that he can set a new Prem scoring record (which he's always been desperate to do), I'm far from convinced it's worth the hassle.

& only he can make that decision, it's a personal one. He'll have to weigh up if it's worth going to a far bigger club where the Bundesliga is more or less wrapped up before the season starts.....over being the all time Spurs/Prem record scorer (I don't think there's much doubt that's something he could easily achieve). I think Bayern with Kane has as good a chance as anyone to win the CL, that's just how highly I rate their squad.

I think it's been rumoured Spurs would be willing to hand him a new 400k a week contract but not sure how long that would be for and how that would compare to what Bayern would be willing to give him....of course that would/could end up being a/the deciding factor.

Just read about the West Ham bids, which are insane, and then read that they got rejected!

On what planet do you not accept £30m for Mctominay. I mean WTAF!

Where is the greater insanity?

Chelsea signing Tyler Adams from Leeds. Not a bad player just injured 80 % of the time.
Injured 80% of the time ? Phew !! Thank fuck Chelsea got him, that guy on market is aa danger to us as Klopp loves signing cripples.

Seems Lopategui has been naffed off for a while with lack of support in the market. He picked them up off the bottom of the league so following him may not be easy, although I thought O'Neil was unlucky not to be kept on at Bournemouth.

Yeah agree. Eyebrows were raised when Lopetegui accepted the job in the first place....IIRC he rejected them initially and many thought he was too good a manager to take that role on. Can't recall a single signing they've made and when you look at the players they've lost you kinda worry for them.

O'Neil may well carry on the good work he left behind at Bournemouth before being harshly relieved of his duties.....at the very least he deserves another chance to prove himself, happy for him.

Wolves underlying numbers were awful. So were Bournemouth's. Lopetegui is rightfully upset about no transfer reinforcements though. While O'Neill's dismissal looked harsh, they were going down this season with similar performances.

Cause Ramsdale is overrated as fuck
My Arse supporting mates don't really rate him as he's nothing more a decent shot stopper. Basically a Pickford with fully grown arms

Raya is good though and that's a very decent price. But they're still dickheads for selling Martinez to play Leno and buy Ramsdale

Given that Ramsdale's an England squad keeper, not likely to quietly accept being displaced from the first team, might this mean Ramsdale's on his bike? If so, they're getting through keepers at a rate of knots over there.

Yes, it is really odd how Arsenal have moved the better keepers on.

Ramsdale makes easy saves look hard, and shouts and claps his hands, which usually is enough to get you into the England team. Him and T-rex are both overrated. Pope is the best English keeper, even if he is a bit dodgy with the ball at his feet.

Also, you had pointed out Bournemouth's new ownership before. He has a form for making bold, counter-intuitive decisions with the Golden Knights which have paid off.

Hopefully it’s a precursor to Bernardo leaving and hopefully they pay through the nose for him. That would make it an expensive downgrade.
