I thought the other one was involved in some games. Pong something.

Anyway, why didn't he kick in?

Yeah i remember that game like it was yesterday too. We were awful to be honest and whatshisname - Harry or something, Harry Styles (?) especially scuffed so many of his shots. Dont remember much though, after that match. Such a haze.

Imagine what might have happened if that team played to its true potential and went on to win the cup.

GH's legacy would have been so much different for us.

Yes I remember that, was in his home town (amalec or something) when that crazy mother fucking piece of shit went around knifing kids.

wasn't there some new ruling that was put in place to curtail all this buying and then loaning out players

[article]
- From 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023, a club may have a maximum of eight professionals loaned out and eight loaned in at any given time during a season.
- From 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, the same configuration applies but with a maximum of seven professionals.
- Finally, from 1 July 2024, the same configuration will apply but limited to a maximum of six professionals.[/article]

There’s a rumour that Everton were interested in Maguire.

I’m truly torn between wanting to see him play in front of Utd’s new calamity in nets, or torpedo Spurs chances of top 6, or help get Everton relegated.

Well he has been relegated 4 times.

BREAKING: #Chelsea have made a £25m verbal proposal to sign Michael Olise. Personal terms are already agreed.

Olise has a slight preference of Chelsea over Man City.

More "smaller" clubs buying direct from South American league over the past couple of transfer windows - Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and now Crystal Palace.

Yeah I'm noticing, tbh not something I'd ever have imagined happening before. Looks like Chelsea's regular signings from them over the years have opened the door for others to follow.

Or more likely a) Brexit and the rule change and b) value for money because Euro prices have gone nuts.

Maybe a mix of the 3, it's whichever you wanna believe is the cause but Chelsea have been bringing in talent from Brazil well before Brexit was ever a thing. You remember players like Oscar? Paulinho? Ramires? Kenedy?

But your Palace's and Fulham's are still signing the Palhinha's and Doucoure's of this world for very reasonable prices, clubs like Fulham and Palace don't need to go chasing the big boys for their 50...60m signings, a signing like Harry Wilson for £10-£15m will do just fine for them.

These clubs can pick up players like Eze or Olise from the championship and letting their talent shine on the biggest stage, for prices they would've still been paying 10.....maybe even 20 years ago?
