City signing Gvardiol for 86 million

That's the real difference between Pep and Klopp for the last 10+ years ...
We would have signed Gvardiol if we had the financial muscle to do so as it's CLEAR as day he has the tools to be one of the best defenders in the world.
We cannot - and Pep can, after his CBs were fine ...
If only UEFA & the FA cared about football, they'd ensure his debut was in division 2

£86m?!?! Yes. You put him on the scale of Bellingham as the best talents in Europe??

He was also a talent before Leipzig snapped him up......for 20m.
His market value is €75m Leipzig don't want to sell.

It's a sellers market so ,€100m feels about right to me.

& that's fine. Of course these selling clubs are gonna value their own higher than the market value.....all it takes is 1 side to be willing to put that money up....just so happens to be those cunts over the M62, I'm not gonna lose any sleep over this as I don't think he's any better than what they've got.

From what I've seen of him for country and in the CL, he's about 50-60m.....some will agree with that, others won't.

I never thought Maguire was worth the 100m euros Leicester valued him at.........Utd obviously did and then look what happened, I have the same feeling about Rice.

I know, I saw it was a straight battle between Barca and Madrid. Oh well, not much you can do when the big 2 come calling.

It was fun while it lasted!!!!! God bless and RIP </3

The deals for Rice and Timber will take Arsenal's summer spending to around £200m. Their total spend since Arteta was appointed (December 2019) will be around £600m. Arsenal have generated around £70m through sales in that time. Time to get selling. #AFC

Where do they get the money, it's ludicrous. They've recorded losses of 30-40m every year in that time.

I think their stadium is paid for. Their owner Kroenke invests money in his sports teams. His NFL, NBA, and NHL teams have won the title in the last three years.

The narrative that playmo head competed for the league by carefully nurturing young talents on a budget needs to change.
