Poor Atletico - they’ll be talking about the money Barca still owe them for this lad for decades.

PSG want €150M for Mbappé this summer. (Julien Laurens, ESPN)

The owners would be mad not to fork that over ... the ROI would be huge - shirts, sale in 2-3 years for far more etc ... Now I doubt he'd come here but oh well.

What do people make of Stevie potentially going to Saudi?

Bothered? Not bothered? Disgusted? Happy for him?

Madrid should do that easy....if they don't I fear he could go to either Utd or Chelsea.

Didn't Madrid have a 200m bid rejected last summer?

Bellingham to Real confirmed. 88,5 mill £ but can rise to 115 mill £.
So not the 150m that was being spouted at one stage. He would have been a fantastic acquisition for us. Does this mean West Ham need to adjust their outrageous valuation of Declan Rice, I wonder?

Not while Chelsea seem to want to buy every player on the planet at whatever silly price gets mentioned.

They’re apparently after Kane & Caicedo now…

Nah, only idiots believe that kinda crap.

If City decide to sign Ward Prowse for 150m, who would be stupid enough to put a 200m valuation on Curtis Jones (besides Moron)....certainly not anyone at the club that's for sure. Every player has their valuation regardless of what someone else goes for.

90M feels like a pretty good deal for Real Madrid.

Missing out on CL really hurt us. Hopefully it teaches the owners that penny pinching and endlessly waiting can have consequences.

I can’t see a world where 88m up to 115m was out of reach for us. Surely he decided against joining. Hope he has a career ending injury now after flirting with us for 2 years 🙁

Did you forget our owner is John W Henry, not an Arab Sheikh whose brother is the Leader of an Oil State?

You have to consider the wages, which are at 250k or thereabouts.

I think between the transfer fees and wages we are going to get two very good midfielders for the price of one, and we need both quality and quantity.

We were right not to buy him considering our needs. The problem is not addressing those needs over other transfers and blundering into this position.

West Ham about to land Tim Steidten, whom we were linked with. This + Aston Villa's move for Monchi - If they deliver, it's gonna make the league even more interesting.
