No manager, no stadium, no budget, £350m debt, no buyers! The nightmare is no european football the season after next.
Wont happen though, the new manager will come in and get the best out of the squad. Your taget for next season has to be 4th and hope.

Seriously? We are already as a consequence of internal politics, injuries, poor tactics, lack of creativity and generally poor football. We need a manager that will take our club by the scruff of the neck and allow the players to play express themselves in order to realise their potential. Our players just weren't hungry enough for it last season.

Hasnt everyone of the starting 11 and a lot of the squad represented their country? Its actually a good squad, just without direction.

We are already in a nightmare Scenario. Nightmare started at the beginning of last season. 'One bad season' is what Hicks and Gillett could not afford...especially Hicks.
All three of them leaving will be very unlikely, and at worst i think we may end up losing Masher. If we lose Gerrard, Torres and Masher it will not be for anything less than 110 million. If it is re-invested properly with a little bit more, we will certainly be able to rebuild.
Getting the fourth place should be the priority. It will be hard to compete with Arsenal, Chelsea, United, City, and Spurs but our squad with a bit of belief can do it.

Well if we get relegated, it will be with Benitez supersquad. So his legacy would be building us a shit squad, and running away with the money we had to rebuild it 8)

In all fairness he can be a back up. The lad is still young, and developing. It would be a shame if we get the same money as we paid for him when we spent all the money we lost by not qualifying for CL just to give him more experience and develop him....

The worst case scenario is relegation. I am not saying it will happen, but then many things can happen in football
eg no money to rebuild, owners take away sales proceed, some of our first team leaving (looked what happened when Xabi left, we dropped from 2nd to 7th), we might be scraping to survive in PL!
