So, a few links and quite a bit of chat circulating about Timo Werner– perhaps Leipzig will become our German Southampton. I know he has a few fans on here. Anybody interested in him? Would he fit us?

Liverpool are monitoring RB Leipzig's Timo Werner, ahead of a potential move in the summer, for what could be a double swoop from the German side with the signing of Naby Keita.
The 22-year-old forward has developed hugely at the Bundesliga club, and attracted the attention of a few Premier League clubs including Manchester United, but it is Jurgen Klopp who has shown by far the strongest interest. He wants to add depth to his attacking options this summer.
Negotiating with Leipzig may be difficult, though, especially given how drawn-out the deal for Keita was. Liverpool ended up agreeing to bring the midfielder in for next season, having wanted him for the start of 2017-18. There is also the concern that Werner has spoken in the past about how United would be his dream move, but Liverpool have so far shown much more willingness to go for the forward.

I like him a lot. Got loads of pace, and would fit in very well in our high-energy attack.

He'd cost a bomb though. I expect they'll ask for 100 million.

Wasnt there something about him not being able to play when the noise levels where to high? Or something?
I doubt we can play him at Old Trafford every week.

I was going to post about him today because we're being linked to him again ...
He's really good - does everything at a high level.

While we're at it, we should sign all of RB's scouts.

He looks like he was made for a Klopp team. Question is, if he's going to cost as much as Dmishra suspects, is he worth it? There's no doubt he's a class act.

“Playing in the Premier League is a dream for me," he told FourFourTwo .
"I would like to play for two or three clubs, and Manchester United are one of those clubs. But probably not in the next few years – later, when my English is a little bit better! I’m very comfortable at RB Leipzig, though.
“Manchester United and Liverpool were the teams I watched quite a lot in England. They were the two that I’m a little bit a fan
of, because they have so much history. When Alex Ferguson was the coach, United won everything and were outstanding.
“In Liverpool, it’s also their stadium and the atmosphere. But, when I have to decide, I’m more Manchester United than Liverpool. I'm now at a point where at some stage in the future I'd like to play in a team that wins titles.”
