Liverpool are reportedly keen on in form Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer and are ready to make an offer for the 23 year old in January.
Kenny Dalglish is keen to bring in more width to the right side of his midfield and currently uses the services of Jordan Henderson and Dirk Kuyt to fill that role, neither being a natural selection for the role. The Anfield boss has scouted Dyer this season and is said to be impressed by the former Southampton man has taken to life in the English top tier.
The speedy winger has made a big impact this term and is said to be a player who has attracted the attention of many Premier League sides including Newcastle United and Everton but now Liverpool are said to be ready to enter the race and the Wiltshire born wide-man may well be tempted by a move to the Merseyside club.
Liverpool brought in Stewart Downing to fill the left wing role, an area the club had struggled to fill in recent seasons with the likes of Ryan Babel failing to impress in. The former Aston Villa man has impressed since his summer move and now Dalglish wants a similarly attacking direct weapon on the right, hence his interest in Dyer.
Nathan Dyer is something of a cult hero at the Liberty Stadium and is now in his third full season at the Welsh club following an initial loan spell back in 2008/09. The pint sized winger only signed a new three year deal in the summer but that may not prevent interest from Liverpool turning the youngster’s head.

Dodgy site. Anyway lively little player, enthusiastic, works his arse off for the team but needs to add goals to his game. Hes young and likely to keep improving.

BUT we really need to be looking at someone who is the finished product now we have a solid base to build upon.

Nope that was Sinclair.

This is the lad done for stealing mobile phones in a night club though.

I've not seen much of him other than our game and he was decent in it.

Was decent against Utd aswell. Still feel there is very little end product from him, and it sounds like a dodgy link tbh.

Would rather sign Rolls Reus. He's ace!

He seemed rather good in the Utd match.

He beat about 3 players in a run at one point but then it went to his head and he tried to go all the way. That seemed to sum him up, he's quick and of some ability but he didn't seem all there in the head and has doesnt done in the few matches I've seen.

I'd not be adverse to getting him in aslong as it wasn't for too much dollar.

I like that we're looking to sign some quick and talented attacking players, but can we get someone who's well, a little better?

I've only ever seen him play once. Against us, and he looked fairly impressive. But please, 9 goals in over 100 games for Swansea, playing Championship football.

Not good enough. And I doubt I need to see him again to make this judgment.

From what I've seen of him he looks a real talent, but I'd worry about his final ball.

Indeed, or SWP MkII on a slightly larger scale.

Fuck me no. SWP Is & was gash. Overrated overhyped overpriced shite.

I'm not convinced by Dyer yet. I really hope that he makes it as I kinda like the footie that Swansea are playing, but I suspect that the end product is not there at the mo, hence the SWP reference. TBH, I'd be as underwhelmed by Lennon as I would be SWP.

His pace has caused teams problems this year. Is it just me or are teams defending worse this season. Man Utd and Chelsea at times have been dire when in the past have had some of the best defences in the league.
