Is Fekir ..when playing on the wing .... play on the left ? If so it opens the possibility that Klopp can play a 442 formation if he needs to that would allow fekir on left mid and mane on right mid with bobby and salah up front. The other two midfielders would be Fab and Keita.

Nice write up Rurik ! I'm sure I said most (some) of that even with shall we say .. a lot more errrr brevity ? Cough.

One point - you need to convert that to per 90 metrics and not overall totals .. considering Firmino played ca. 500 more mins this season and 900 more mins the season before, that does tend to sway the stats in his favour !

You're right – I actually used the per 90 initially, but switched to totals in order for stats like goals to make more sense and forgot to switch back.

Thanks Rurik. Your point about not understanding why people have him as potentially playing in the midfield three - you answered that yourself. I think he will potentially play behind Firmino, with AOC an alternative there. The key is that he provides that versatility to cover a few positions, as does AOC. Both could play wide if needed, while Fekir can cover for Bobby too. If he does figure in midfield it'll be to spearhead the midfield. That poses loads of questions about where Keita will play too I guess. Next to Fabinho?

Indeed likely a 4 2 3 1 with Keita and Fabinho behind Mane, fekir, Salah and Firmino

Interesting and grateful to read the assessments of Fekir from those that have watched him play. A small minority seem underwhelmed by him but I trust Klopp to buy players that fit the system rather that individual talents that wouldn't work in our setup. I'm sure that this was the reasoning behind letting Coutinho go so early, in that he wasn't essential to the overall Klopps system.

“Nabil Faulkner: "It's going to take a long time to get away from you. There is nothing that a hundred or more men can do.
I bless the rains in Africa. I will take the time to do the things we have never had. " (Team)”

Wow. Ive just looked close at your avatar. Its two people fighting.
I legit thought it was a big puffy, bloody, mongy alieny face.

How weird.

Both Diaz and McGregor could easily be described as having big puffy, bloody, mongy alieny faces, so you weren't far off.

McGregor tapping out gives Mors a hard on as he can't cope with him doing what nobody ever did in the sport

Meanwhile Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Depay has agreed contract terms with AC Milan, but they didn't agree on a price with Lyon yet. So it looks like both Fekir and Depay might be leaving; Ndombele and Aouar staying at Lyon.

Salad Cream, one of the UK's most traditional condiments may be renamed Sandwich Cream, it has been reported.

Its maker, Heinz, says that only 14% of those who buy the sauce use it on salads, with many more preferring to use it in sandwiches.

A spokesman for Heinz told trade magazine the Grocer that the name no longer "fairly represents the product's ingredients or usage occasions."

It would be the first name change for the product since its launch in 1914.

Fans of the traditional name went on social media to express their anger.

According to the Grocer (£), Heinz is considering adopting the name Sandwich Cream to better reflect how the country uses the condiment and to appeal to "younger shoppers".

The condiment became a national favourite during the 1940s, Heinz says, when ketchup was unavailable and salad cream was used to add flavour to bland war-time rations.

UK sales of the brand dipped 5.4% to £28.8m in 2017. But there was outcry in the 1990s when leaked documents revealed that Heinz was considering discontinuing production of the "zingy" sauce, generating so much publicity that Heinz re-launched Salad Cream with a £10m advertising campaign.

In 2015, Heinz merged with the US food giant Kraft.

Joel Hughes, UK sauces brand build lead at Kraft Heinz, added: "As a market leading business, Kraft Heinz continues to audit its portfolio in order to meet the needs of consumers.

"There are consumers now who haven't grown up with the brand in the household and just don't know about the iconic zingy flavour or what to eat it with."

There is now a consultation under way on the new name and an official announcement is expected in September.
