Liverpool fans getting a raw deal?
Despite finishing seventh last season and being expected to undergo a period of consolidation under new manager Roy Hodgson, Liverpool are still demanding a hefty £37 for their cheapest tickets - more than double the £15 charged at cheapest club Wigan.
Of the three clubs promoted to the English Premier League, Newcastle is the cheapest at £20, with both West Brom and Blackpool charging £25.
Surprisingly, Fulham works out as the fifth most expensive club in both leagues, with the cheapest ticket to Craven Cottage costing £30.
*Manchester City: The club says it has "no fixed pricing structure", although a ticketing representative told MSN Money that the cheapest ticket for the first home game (Liverpool) was £38.
**Blackburn Rovers: The club says it has a "fluctuating and dynamic matchday pricing policy ... depending on fixture, circumstances etc", so no cheapest ticket price could be obtained.
