He's away drowing his sorrows at the fact the Downing didn't get picked for the England squad.
 
I remember him being very confident we could beat some team 10 nil and then downgrading his estimate to 7 nil.

Can I just give you my opinions on the world cup so far:-

1) ENGLAND - one of the most talented sides with all those great LFC players, and somehow it has gone wrong due to the damage done by another ... LFC player. Shit happens but Roy is so great according to the English press. Problem I think is that we don't really have a central midfield play-maker who is good enough on the international stage, but have to say we had enough chances to draw/win against the likes of Italy and Uruguay so there is an argument that shit happens.

2) BRAZIL - having watched and fallen in love with Football after watching Brazil 82. I can honestly say when Phil announced his squad - "You have got to be kidding me ?" - that is the worse Brazil team I have seen in my lifetime so far. It is full of rejects from Europe. Fucking Fred ? - what the f*ck man ? every time he plays I actually think Brazil are doing well with 10 men. Talentless Brazil team if ever there was one.

3) Italy may go out like England if Suarez has a say.

My hope is that Brazil now meet Uruguay in the final and lose the game so that the Brazil will look inward to produce a new generation of players to inspire the world of football again.

4) Don't really see any world class players doing that well - other than Suarez.

LFC - Matters

Why the fuck have we not signed a world class player yet ? to show our boy Suarez we mean business ?

Barcalona in trouble I can see - so expect transfer for Downing.
