In that case it's done - because he has like a 99% win record when claiming a deal is done, especially if an Italian team are involved.#Salah from @OfficialASRoma to @LFC, deal done @22mosalah @SkySport

Signing an AFCON player because another player will be unavailable due to the same national cup commitment is just so Liverpool.
The idea of moving Coutinho back central, and having these two on the wings is very very nice, isn't the problem though that they play on the same wing? That isn't why we are buying him, clearly. As many people noted and complained about, Mane was our only source of really electric pace in the side. Imagine having two, pacey, high scoring wide forwards changing flanks and causing mayhem amongst panicking defences. That is why Klopp wants him.

JJ's gonna love that, he's the biggest fan of playing wingers on the wrong wingOne is right footed (Mane) and one is left footed (Salah). I think the idea must be to move Mane to the left where he will cut in onto his right foot (making him potentially even more dangerous), but I hope to see them swapping flanks unpredictably throughout games, giving defenders a torrid time. Mane has played left wing loads for previous clubs so this is not moving him to a position that he doesn't know or work well in. Salah has also played left wing at various points too.
We will sign both. But will no doubt get shafted on the price, so now that salah is on his way, a top top super expensive striker seems less likely to be landing this season
If we get all three I'll eat my fucking hat.
All three of whom/what?
That Sslah sounds like an evil snake from a Disney cartoon.
Cheap strikers are welcome however.
Sslah, Keita, Van Dijk. Brendan correctly believes that we have no chance of getting them all, but foolishly extrapolates that we will therefore get an expensive striker.
I haven't seen him play for Roma but he first same to my attention whilst playing for FC Basle against Chelsea in the CL. I saw both games and he was MOM in both games and played on the left.I presume Mane is going on the left then as he 'can' play there, whereas Salah can only play right wing. Coutinho deeper, and Firmino or someone else as the no.9.

Foolish extrapolation is the same as hope.
You're not normally a man for hope are you though? More of a "glass half empty, and that looks like a dead bug in there" guy, I thought.
If he can play on the left and we can leave Mane on the right, then that'd be awesome.
Maybe we'll go for the spectacular and quite surprising move of playing both on the right wing?
Sky Sports: "Liverpool in their very surprising 4-3-2-0-1, or something, our graphics are fucked. Sorry!"

Both Mane and Salah can also play CF, so there are plenty of possibilities.
