Maybe it's a bit to soon still as I really think he's suffered from being misused but Pogba is starting to appear in the periphery of "a missed bullet" for me. Watched him quite a lot with Juve and he was downright amazing, unplayable even, oozing potential and class.

Would've loved we had splashed the cash on him but that might not have turned out like I would've thought after all..

Unfortunately, it is too soon, and he's another that would probably be amazing in our team as the third midfielder with licence to attack.

I do think Pogba is a bit shit, like, but I'm always reluctant to write off players for United. Plus, I think Mourinho is doing him no favours. But yeah, Pogba is the ultimate fifa/youtube player. Don't think we were ever linked to him, though.

Walcott is one for me - whilst I think he was good for Arsenal, he never truly threatened the top level we had hoped for. I was very keen on us signing him for years but i soon realised he was just a bit of a let down.

Maybe some of these players would be more successful with us. I would have included Ox is this list until we got him.

Weren't we in for Xhaka and Arsenal pipped us to him? I remember watching him for Swtizerland in the last Euro's and being gobsmacked that us and Arse were interested in him but assumed there must be more to him than I was seeing.....there isn't.

The one that got away was Salah when Chelsea outbid us. Yes I know there's a happy ending but at the time I was gutted that we missed out on him as I rated him so highly.

I dont think I have ever really suggested Kjaer? If I have then surely in the same ‘cheap’ bracket as Bendtner. Or maybe as one to watch, dont think he is a top defender anyways.

Andreas Christensen however.. another one we could’ve saved gazillions on had we just taken my sound advice. Tsk tsk.
