Midweek games

The other week everyone seemed in touching distance. Now there is an 7 point gap and teams have games in hand - scary shit.

So what's the thoughts on McCarthy fielding his reserve team then?

It's gonna look quite ridiculous if they don't beat Burnley this weekend after that.

Basically we need to start winning back to back games now!

Understandable but questionable.

If they stay up nobody will complain and after the effort against Spurs who can blame him

He's thrown the game.

Feel sorry for their fans who made the trip to end up watching their reserves.

A week before Christmas as well.

"40 quid to watch the reserves" was the chant at the game apparently.

I don't remember if I was pro/anti the Milner camp but does anyone think he would have had a chance to develop as brilliantly as he has with MON? Central Midfield? No chance until this year, and even then, may have had to share starts with Lucas. RM? Yah right, next.

He made a good career choice and he'll play for one of the Top 4 in the coming years if Villa don't make the jump from pretenders to contenders.

A guy at my office is a massive Wolves fan that goes to all the home and away games.

He is absolutely disgusted and has written to the club to complain.

Cameron Jerome.

Seems to be on fire doesn't he, would he be a striker-option for us come January?

I've always seen him as a rather pacey, big and skillful striker, and boy what a goal he scored at Anfield earlier this season, but what's your thoughts? I haven't seen enough of him to say whether he's the real deal.

i mean seriously, has this ever happened before? in fucking december. there's absolutely no reason to fear the mancs either, it's bizarre.

Zamora is class A twat, but he's been in decent form this season.

Still, the hushing at your own fans and I should play for England attitude is cuntishmaterial

Don't even get me started on Riise, jeeezzeess.

Lived just down the road from me, and played for my local team. He wasn't very well liked to say the least.
Has a decent right foot though and a good cross on him

Zamora's just scored for Fulham away to Basel, in their much win game. 1-0.
