Is out of prison.
So will there be a moral line drawn in the sand?
Wil there fuck, someone will hire the cunt quick sharp.

Ps-His Agent is thick as fuck.

Joking aside, the man is utter scum.

What cunt of a club is going to offer him 50k a week to get a freebie?

They'll probably be lining up, unfortunately.

I'm guessing Blackpool may be in pretty quick, they can't afford to have morals.

i think big crazy holloway might knock him back

he's mental enough to have morals

King had a medical at Fulham in January 2008, which Fulham at the time said he had failed. Following King's conviction in October 2009 Fulham manager Roy Hodgson said "I think we got lucky in that we didn't sign him. There was a problem with the medical and it also became a problem when we found out he had a jail sentence. Mohamed Al Fayed was not at all keen on that so the transfer was allowed to collapse and he went to Wigan instead."

West Ham then.

He'll take the place of Beckham now that transfers fallen through. The transfer that beckham knew nothing about despite gold saying becks was considering it.

Lwe hughes got a club and he did worse!

His crime was more serious, but I wouldn't necessarily call Hughes 'scum'. An idiot yes but its not like he did something that he is likely to do again.

King has now been in prison twice and has had 14 convictions for various things, not to mention probably other incidents that haven't led to a conviction. He's a nasty, thick cunt.

He'll find a new club though. QPR are rumoured to be after him

Heard they talked about this on Talksport, with all the presenters saying how he was a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed to play football again and basically no one in football should employ him etc.

Guy calls in and says how they are all hypocrites, and are quite happy to sit and work there with Stan Collymore.

Cut him off.

Stan the man wasn't convicted of anything was he? Still, a good point though.

King wil sign for QPR.

His agent is some piece of work, doing his job I guess but comparing him to Lee Hughes don't help. He's not very good anyway.

I don't know about any kind of moral line. He's done his time and that's that.

It's not like football is the preserve of good upstanding role models.

His agent was on R5 before, he's a fucking imbecile.

The lad done his time. He is an asshole but there are more than a few playing footy. I vaguely remember the Leeds players incident with some Asian lad?

Footballers are by no means the standard bearers of morals and values.

This is true. Essentially Marlon King has been released now and his career is as a professional footballer. If he was working with children or vulnerable adults then being on the sex offenders register (which I believe he is) would I assume bar him from going back to his old job. It doesn't bar him from being a professional footballer again.

The people who have to take a moral judgement are the clubs as to whether they wish to take him on and his agent as to whether he wishes to retain him as a client. The latter seems to have made his decision, which is fair enough, its his business. The former I am sure will weigh up whether its worth having someone so unpleasant employed by them with the fact that he will probably score some goals for them and won't cost a huge amount.

Indeed. Jonathan Woodgate's career didn't exactly suffer as a result of that did it?

I would guess that a high percentage of footballers would have been incarcerated at some stage in their lives if they weren't lucky enough to have a highly paid career. They're quite stupid people in general.

Total and utter fucking wanker - "particularly predatory sexual assualt".

Any club that signs him should be ashamed, but given the moral standards of football today, I would guess he will have at least a couple to choose from.

Disgrace.

The more money that's pumped into the game, the less place morals have in football.

If a chairman thought King could save his team from relegation and they were skint, I wouldn't be too strong in my criticism of him.

Wasn't Woodgate and Bowyer involved? I get the karma thing but they were still given opportunities even though their careers spiralled into oblivion.

Bowyer was cleared, Woodgate convicted.

Any chance that Woodgate is related to Terry?
