Id say he is pretty much a goner in the summer.. failed to delivered a trophy.. Mourinho i say is pretty much nailed on for the city job..

I like him as a manager.. problem with city he is a puppet on a string.. The board run the club.. and they forced his arm to bring Tevez back in.

When he goes.. it would not suprise me one bit if we go in for him...

Talks in the papers today about Dalglish will be having a showdown with the owners this week to explain Liverpools current league form..

Mancini is a no go.

Mourinho to City could happen, but I think it depends on him winning La Liga or the CL. He wont quit before that imho.

What is it you like about him exactly? The imaginary card waving? The arrogance? The failure to admit to anything being his players fault?
Hes a fucking cock.

He had city playing with flair at the beginning of the season. Citys problem is too many ego's and complete lack of balls and experience with the current crop of players at the club.. Mourinho will probably change all that mentality..

He has Silva, Balotelli, Tevez, Dzeko, Nasri, Johnson, Aguero...Sam Allardyce could get them to play with flair.

Does anyone think he's a good manager ?

He's a right place at the right time fella.

That being said.. I still think he is a better manager than most...

Failing that we could always pinch Pardew and his scouting team 😉 ... He has to be a contender for manager of the year imho...

Not me mate. He should be about 20 points clear.
That said United have been ridiculous this season. Probably as strong as I remember them.

Moyes is pretty much always manager of the year.
The job he does polishing that turd is phenomenal.

Fuck!! Just praised United and Everton in consecutive posts.
*goes to have a scrub*

They can hardly be unhappy with them, I don't think he'll get sacked, I hope he doesn't anyway.

Im not sure mate. They have been knocked out of 4 competitions and are about to fuck up the 5th. If I spent 300m and got fuck all for it I think id sack the fucker, especially given that Mourinho is practically sucking of yer man Mansour.
Hes like a euro yosser.

Yup. And I think he's cost them the league title this year.

Utd have been excellent over the last few months but they shouldn't have been allowed to get back on top.

Yeh it is likely moyes will win it in a giggs like manor, more so if they win the FA Cup.. 10 years n all that

The should rename it manager of half a year if he does.. as Evertons season only ever seems to start and get going in January..

Doesn't make any difference, they should be bottom half of the table consistently given how little cash he's had to spend, yet they're *almost* always top half or better. Seriously, that 'net spend' argument regards Moyes would be mental, he went 3/4 seasons without being able to buy a first team player, & they were hardly world beaters to start with.

Add to that he's spent what little cash he's had during that period on kids, who seem to be extremely promising, & it's undeniable that he's done very well.

I know, but he's only been there 2 years? And he's clearly brought the club very far forward. The owners can't expect overnight success, admittedly he threw it away this season, but, he's been right up there, he got the the semi's of one competition (better than United) and the City are a feared football team, he shouldn't be sacked. However if Mourinho did become available, thats a different matter.

To be fair, they should be playing with flair, the players they have.

He's had longer than he'd have got at Chelsea, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another season, they've still progressed.

Bang on. It'd be interesting to see how well he operates with a bit of money though.

When he's spent "big", he's bought good players.

Only failure I can think of is bilyetdinov (can't even remember if he was big money).

Not many of his transfers fail spectacularly like ours

Beattie and A Johnson hardly set the world on fire either.
But Jagielka,Baines,Howard and Arteta were all brilliant signings for the fees they paid.
