He was good. He had sterling on toast all nightAttacking he was iffy at times, but defensively he was fantastic
The midfield was a worry as soon as we saw it but Lovren was auditioning for Everton tonight. Terrible performance.
You can't blame the front three when none of the midfield were looking to get forward and there was a gaping hole between them and the forwards.
Ditto in 2009 when we beat the Mancs 1-4* at OT, they still went on to the title. We will too. This is like our 4-1 win against the mancs in 09.
Great result for us, felt like it turned the tide in the league race, ultimately meant fuck all.
Welcome to our (ex) world you Manc cunts.
Fa cup could be a timely distraction, regroup. Play reserves
Aren't you just repeating what I said in different words?Ditto in 2009 when we beat the Manca 1-4 at OT, they still went on to the title. We will too.

Yup. Which is his job. Plus he got a great assist.Attacking he was iffy at times, but defensively he was fantastic
Disagree about the timely distraction. We should play mostly reserves but if we go out the media spin on our collapse will be in full force. Would rather we just get on with the league and beating the teams on the docket.
Fuck me. Well it seems I did, probably I phrased it better 😉Aren't you just repeating what I said in different words?
I agree
Lovren had one of the worst performances ever.
He was good. He had sterling on toast all night
I wish I could give you 100 likes for this post coz i agree with everything 100%.That's not a compliment, they always get ludicrously overpraised. I don't watch TV these days. I don't watch other games. I don't get remotely wrapped up in the hype. I barely care. Aside from our games. Then I see the other teams I've read about who are so incredibly wonderfully gloriously good and I think, 'Is that it???' I thought it tonight. Nothing they did scared me remotely. It was pretty even. They'll lose again.
OK, this is tough to take. There were so many points the gave could have turned in our favor: Mane hitting the post, the insane clearance off the line (the ball was 1cm and 12mm from being counted as goal), Kompany's potential red card, our chances in the scramble in the 2nd half – but in the end it was the difficult finishes by Aguero and Sane that proved to be the difference. I have to say Fernandinho has been INCREDIBLE in this game – possibly the best I've ever seen him play. It's not often an opposition team DM makes you gush, but this was just something to behold – absolutely world-class midfield performance, often single-handedly repelling our counter-attacks and controlling the tempo to perfection. Anything less from him and the game and the result would have been very different.
And yeah, Lovren fucked up many times in this game, including being culpable for both goals and it was all for everyone to see, but can we please not rush into a stampede to crucify him? We win and lose as a team. I might just be the biggest culprit as I either forgot to pack my lucky underwear on my trip – or it just mysteriously disappeared, either way it was one bad omen among many. In sum, we're not going to defend a 10 point lead starting from January and celebrate a title in March; it's going to be a close race all the way. Let's do this!

I am absolutely seething with Klopp, hence brain is definitely in overdrive and not paying the slightest attention to what's going on around me. I'm surprised I haven't collided with more posters.
Agree with everything except not crucifying Lovren ... he deserves every bit of vitriol I can muster for that utterly shite performance. At least until I wake up tomorrow.OK, this is tough to take. We KNOW those three are not good enough (together), that's why Klopp went out and bought Keita and Fabinho ... then doesn't play them. It's on him. They were the better side, but not that much better.
Fernandinho was immense for them, and our midfield was not good enough tonight. I don't thing that these three should play together for us.
Gini was good until he got tired, and I really don't think he's a LW.
Fabinho should have started with Gini and Hendo.
Lovren had a nightmare. He was to blame for Aguero's goal, and had a few more blunders. I can't wait for Gomez to come back.
In the end, infootball like in life you need luck. We were unlucky tonight, as if Mane's ball or the ball that hit Ederson had gone in, it would have been a different ball game.
Anyway, we made them sweat for that win. We have to chin up and continue this unbelievable season. We can do it.
It's all about the reaction now. That's all that matters.
We have to be mentally strong and continue to put pressure on City, by winning and winning and winning. I'm convinced that their defence is still creaky and away from home they are more likely to lose than us.
We just have to continue focusing on us. We need to show championship mettle. They have to drop points before us next.
Lube ? You pussy. You said it better.
Name the time & place, and I'll happily fuck you. With or without lube?
