Man City Fan on way to last nights game, someone expand the pic please?

They used to be admired for their stubborn support when their club went down the system... What happened?? Suddenly found the life on the sunnier side much more convenient? Flushed pride and passion down the toilet when the money came rolling?

If that idiot with the laser had been one of ours Ollie Holt and Co would have gone berserk. Gerrard dealt with it very well.

Maybe mentioning it would have helped?

Anything to get the flac off us?

he completely stunned off mancini there. didn't think he had it in him. he's deffo changed after being out for so long.
Yeah Mancini's riposte was shite. A garbled load of gibberish. Well played Gerrardo. I like the idea of Stevie waving an imaginary card too. Works on several levels.
Can't hear what he actually said?

Gerrard used to like shouting at Luis Garcia. A lot.
Me too the lazy cunt.

I think he says......................." Frosties"

I can sort of sympathise with Mancini. He's just saying Johnson's tackle was worse than Kompany's - which it was. I doubt he was trying to get Johnson into trouble, just calling for some consistency.
In what way was it worse?
If you mean Kompanys challenge was a better challenge then I have to agree. But if you are saying Johnsons challenge was MORE of a foul, then I have to disagree. Neither was worse in that sense as both were brilliantly timed challenges.

I'd have to see both again, but from what I can remember Johnson's seems more 'forceful' and could have done more damage had there been a leg there. I don't think either was a foul.

and if you headed a ball away , you could have got the timing wrong you could head-butt the player, so yeah all heading of balls should be a sending off......hang on this is worse than I thought, if you kick a ball it is possible to get that wrong too and end up kicking someone badly...oh fuck what are we going to do?

People need to stop worrying about what didnt fucking happen.

He made a great challenge, and yeah if he missed there would have been repercussions, but he got the fucking ball, so there shouldn't be a fucking problem.

Yep, and there isn't going to be any retrospective punishment (as I knew there wouldn't be) so, fuck it.

So first he waves the imaginary card all over the place to have Skrtel sent off, then he slams Rooney for helping the ref sending off Kompany before he wants Johnson sent off? That city certainly do something to people doen't it?

I made this point pages ago. I invented the wheel! Me!

Without checking Foxy, I'm going to confirm that it was me. *pretends to check*

Yes, it was me.

I agreed with something that Lawro said the other night during the match for the first time in a loooooooong time.

It was something along the lines of ' They might as well make football a non-contact sport'

Both the Kompany & the Glenjo challenges were ace - perfect example of how to perform a sliding tackle.

Adidas and the other cunts introducing Boots that resemble slippers and fucking ridiculous shin pads are to blame for this.

IF David Villa was wearing a pair of proper shin pads, how the flying fuck did that tackle break his shin bone, it wasn't that hard.

If you go back to Johnson's brilliant tackle inside the box. We all say ( including the commentator), " brilliant tackle, he had to time that right or its a penalty. Well he did time it right. So it wasnt a penalty. It was a brilliant tackle.

Same thing with the contentious tackle. He had to time that right or it was a red card. But he did time it right. So it wasnt a red card. It was a brilliant tackle.

If you know what Im trying to say.

Anyway about the game, it was the first time in 14 month Citeh failed to score at home!

Carry on!

City's recent form: DLWLL

They're out of the Champions League, the FA Cup and now possibly out of the League Cup.

I'm surprised there hasn't been talk of pressure on Mancini.

It's not and he won't.

Unfortunately.

The BBC are airing the Cardiff - Palace fixture instead. .
