I loved Gary Neville's commentary.

Min 13 'Lots of space between the lines they need someone like Welbeck'
Min 24 'Henderson and Sterling have too much space - I'm surprised Welbeck didn't start'
Min 28 'Sterling and Allen operating in those pockets of space - Welbeck would be good helping out here'
Min 32 'Sturridge now dropping into those pockets of space - Januzaj needs help. Maybe Welbeck?'
Min 35 'FUCK - Really Rafeal? REALLY?
Min 45 'I'm amazed Welbeck isn't on'
Min 47 'The Utd defence were just carved open - If only Welbeck were on....'
Min 60 ' Time for a change - Surely Welbeck has to come on?'
Min 75 'About time. Welbeck is finally on - He only has 15 mins though'
Min 83 'FUCK YOU SUAREZ!!!!! - Welbeck where were you?'
Min 94 'Oh FUCK.... MOYES Why did you not start Welbeck?'

That might not be entirely accurate in terms of times and precise quotes btw. 😉

So many things are going this season;

On loan reds goals (Assaidi, Borini) to knock big points off,
The way we've got a full squad back (bar Enrique) at the most important time,
This week with results and rivals losing players (Kompany - 3, Ramires - 3),
Highest scorers in league, coming back so many times, goals from all over, constantly changing and winning tactics, and god knows how many records smashed already (let alone the ones still possible).

This is so on!

the best thing about that performance for me was we looked like a team who knew we could go there and win . A few weeks ago at arsenal i don't think they were fully confident despite bashing them the week before at home . We lost but should have got more from the game and i think it made them realise they could go away and outplay top teams .

Plus that's two cleansheets in a row now after only something like 4 or 5 in 24/25 games before . We start keeping cleansheets and this team will be something, i mean we've scored 18goals in our last 5 games ! . We shit goals even when the strikers aren't playing their best .

that's 26pts from the last 30 , 8 wins and 2 draws including 5-1 over arse , 4-0 everton and 0-3 away at united . Even i'm enjoying this .

and how i love flanagan . Christ i was shouting at him a few times during the game for nearly getting himself the second yellow but you have to love his commitment and gung-ho style . I mean the looper nearly got a second yellow for tackle 30 yards inside their half when we're 2 up and there is no need to go in ! .

Rodgers pulled him aside during the game because he wasn't positioning himself right and to be honest Flanno still makes me nervous but you can't fault his attitude.

and not that it matters in the end but i don't think gerrard deserved that yellow. to me it looked like he won the header then hit fellani with his head and not his elbow . I think he only got the booking when they saw the blood .

Flanagan was ace but I was convinced he was gonna get sent off in the second half. He reined it in really well to be fair.

Our midfield was brilliant and it's a shame Sturridge and Suarez weren't firing on all cylinders, otherwise it would have got messy today. Sturridge's runs in behind their defence had them panicked, though.

Defence played superbly and it was Johnson's best amd in a while. Also, credit to Mignolet for. Great reaction save from Rooney. Sure, he's got his flaws, but Mignolet has made some massive saves this season which is a huge benefit.

What a massive transformation this season has been. Incredible by Rodgers to achieve this in the fashion he has.

Told you pessimistic piss pots we'd win. Never in doubt.

I know they're struggling etc, but what a bloody turn around. 20 odd points behind them this time last season, to this. Amazing. And bloody great.
I love David Moyes.
