Post Match Man United 2-2 - Sunday 5th January

Konate back from injury afraid to get a yellow card which would make him unavailable for the next match meant that he couldn't be aggressive covering for Trent . That's why Bradley should have been brought on early after the hour mark .
It was obvious to everyone Slot should have acted earlier

I've had some time to calm and collect my thoughts.

1) I'm disappointed in a lot of you on here with the cricket score bullshit. Do you never fucking learn
2) I'm disappointed with slots decision making today. Trent should have been hooked before Jones. Jota on for Diaz, bradders on for Trent. Then after the pen, endo on for gakkers and ease back
3) I'm disappointed in the attitude of some of players. Some were going through the motions when we needed them to step up. We could have been 8 points clear with a game in hand.
4) I'm disappointed most with Trent. A pathetic performance of a mentally weak boy. If he wants to leave and he's informed the club, sell him. I'm done. If this is the calibre of performance we're going to get over the next 6 months, then get rid. I'd rather make do with Bradley and promote someone than persist with someone protecting them self from injuries

The weather shite I'm just not accepting.

Did united play only in glorious sunshine today? No. They fought for every ball, and made every possession count. They played quick counter attacking football and actually fucking ran.

Blaming the weather is a cunts trick, and I'm not having it.

After 25 minutes you could tell Trent and Jones were having absolute stinkers and should’ve been hooked. Ibu looked off the pace but no way I’d have thrown Quansah into that today. Robbo was meh, tired later on. Gravy took nailing someone into the boards to get going. Mac I thought was the only one truly showing themselves first half and carried that on. Salah was shite first half and somewhat less shite second. Diaz should’ve had a field day because the midget was blowing out of his arse around 40 minutes but decided to be wank. Cody scored a belter.

Anyone who shouts NUNEZ NUNEZ NUNEZ needs a zombie knife through the skull. What a fucking mong.
I've no qualms with him getting support. It might actually prompt him to be useful as unlikely as that sounds

I’ve no qualms with him getting support if he actually did well the mongy fucking shit pile.

The problem with Nunez (besides being shite) is he feeds off the crowd. I don't overly like it, but I also don't overly mind it. Just a shame it doesn't work any more

Looked like both the team and fans thought this was a shoe in certain win.
Poor atmosphere and not one tackle made in the first half. Very poor.
Just like Forest at home we just looked uninterested and not any effort.

In the past I've stuck by Trent but you're way off the mark today. He was terrible.

I didn’t say he was good, I said he wasn’t that bad bc- like to greatly worse than Robbo, or CJ.

Big Ibou was a little rusty, Mo didn’t get into the game much (penalty aside) - lot of 5 out of 10 performances - but Utd, to be fair, were up for it, disciplined, kept their shape and worked hard to effectively hurt us in wide areas.

No issue with him being hooked.

Am I the only one who thought Gravenberch was poor and overly nonchalant today.
Not that he was on his own in that though.

I agree most of the squad wasn't great today, and yes there was a lot of 5/10 or 4/10 performances.

But Trent? Nah. He was a cut below today. In his own field of shiteness, leaps and strides behind anyone else.

He offered nothing going forward and he was actively detrimental in defence. He didn't help a rusty ibou and he had Virgil screaming at him for most of the game

We've seen some absolute stinkers from players in our history, but that's as bad as I've ever seen from anyone. And it's not even the fucking up of passes, or lax control; it's the lack of fucking effort. I can forgive a 3/10 performance if you can see they cared or were trying their best and came up short. But that performance? No. That's the performance of someone who doesn't want to be here.

As a Scouser playing for Liverpool, you should be breaking every muscle fibre to get one over on the mancs. He didn't give a shit as he doesn't want an injury prior to a move.

You don't fucking do THAT celebration last week and then put that calibre of performance in the next. No. That's fucking scandalous

yep

should be flight taken quickly now sadly

If you're going to leave the club in the summer, and you do a celebration like last week; you break your balls til you go.

Lad doesn't even want to break a sweat

I've deliberately allowed my borderline fury at that 'performance' to subside before commenting here...

That was absolutely pitiful. And weather is no excuse. They simply wanted it more than we did today. And that's unforgivable. They outworked, outthought and outfought us. At Anfield. Going for a league title. Simply unacceptable. This was sooooooooo much worse than the Forest match. I hope Slot punishes them in training this week. I hope Forest feel the sting of how angry this team SHOULD be, next weekend.

Other than Macca, Virgil and Ibou (who was out on his feet after 70 mins), practically everybody, including the manager was largely diabolical, ESPECIALLY after grabbing a thoroughly undeserved lead.

Sell Darwin. He's a child, who shows occasional flashes of being good at football, but he's too mentally immature to have on a truly good team.

And, finally, I think that I invented new bad words, as I screamed at our vice-captain this morning... Was he drunk? On the take? Can anybody offer any legitimate explanation for what he offered forth today? I genuinely cannot remember a single worse performance by any LFC player, ever, since maybe Djimi Traore... Maybe.

Take anything that Madrid will give and help him pack his suitcase. Tonight. I can live with a player having a game where everything he touches turns to shit - Who hasn't been there, even at our Sunday-league levels? But today..? Today was an insult to anybody, anywhere, who cares about this club. He would have inflicted less damage upon us, had he gotten himself sent off after 15 seconds.

I've been out on him ever since I saw the slow-mo replay of his 'effort' to defend Everton's 2nd goal, last year, at their place, when we were still fighting for the title... Well, today was THAT level of effort for the entirety of the match. At home. Against THESE cunts. While we're fighting for a title. I'm actually disgusted that he's our vice-captain. He simply doesn't deserve it, and hasn't since quite a bit before he was awarded it.

If THIS is how much he cares, how hard he's prepared to fight for us, he needs to just go. Tomorrow. THIS version of him will not be missed.
